Event Description

October is National Arts and Humanities Month, and each year, more than 10,000 communities and millions of people celebrate. I know this is a global site, but it's a nice reminder, from any country, to take time to celebrate soul-enriching arts and humanities.

Comment by Jeanette McDermott on October 5, 2008 at 10:47pm: The celebration is the whole month long, but the form only allows an event to be posted for 14 days, so I ended the event on 10 October. Hey, Chris, can we fix that so the event can last longer than just 14 days? OK, everyone, enjoy the arts and humanities this month!
