Purple Haze - Hendrix - Woodstock

I may kid a lot, but I was/am adament about drugs - particularly acid and other heavy duty S***. NO! NO! (If you don't know what Purple Haze is, do a freaking Google. While there, check out Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds - duh.)

Anyway - all that aside. Jimi Hendrix was a consumate musician. While the other black folks were singing for Motown (not that it was not good - it was), Jimi was was out screaming his lungs out and whackin a guitar like no one else. He is still considered one of the best guitarists ever.

He was one crazy BroMoFo. I mean really.

I have had few regrets in my life, but one was associated with this. We were headin towards Woodstock and turned back cause we didn't have tickets. Big mistake. I am still sad. After all these years.
