I had 2gb 800mhz kingston ram wich was supported and I added another 2gb of the same kind. The os is windows Xp sp3 which supported 4gb of ram. I have a feeling the motherboard is bad because of all the stuff it needs, nothing on it is stock anymore because of recent failure.
