Get away from the computer... Some great man suggested to me and guess what? It works! I have spent the day away from the computer and doing some retail therapy... I bought Red boxing gloves! But yeah it does work you just have to motivate yourself.

Easier said then done, the first couple of hours were painful, I must say. I wanted to blog so bad but what got me to forget about it was the simple fact that, I had nothing to write about and I don't want to produce stale posts.

So yeah just a quick one from me, I have a great idea for my next posts over at A Geeks Opinion. See you there...

I agree. Not only getting away from the computer, but getting out of the house really helps writers block. I also agree with everyone that carrying a pen and a small pad of paper is important. The times I didn't have that pad of paper with me I would think, I could write about this this and this, but when I got home I would forget what I was going to write about. For you iPhone users you can use the notes application to jot down ideas.

It works for me but unless I have paper and pen or Dictaphone I forget all the brilliant ideas I come up with.

maybe this will work... I'm having trouble making a movie.. I want to make one so bad, but I don't know what to make it about.. I'll have to try this.

Yeah usually I will just concentrate on other interest of mine for a day or so and forget about what i was writing. When I return, and reread what i was trying to write. I come back with a different mind set along with some new ideas.

Ah, okay. I haven't tried that yet.

I used to use the Iching, Tarot cards or Rune stones because they're great ways to generate random ideas but now I use StumbleUpon :)
