Henry Ford once said... "Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success"

Isn't that what we all focus on everyday? Success?
Success is something that we all want, dream of and hope for each and every day of our lives. It could be success for your business, maybe you have a band and you are hoping to be successful. You dream that your children grow up and live successful lives. We all want it, hope for it and yes we do achieve success as well.

I successfully packed up my life from St Louis, Missouri and moved to Tampa, Florida. I successfully found a job with a wonderful company (CaribPOP) and now I am dreaming of success for the business, with the business and in my own personal life.

There are many things that you need to remember when looking to be successful in anything you dream of....
~Keep the dream alive. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't achieve anything.
~Ask for help when you need it.
~Stay true to who you are.
~Once you have become successful, pass on your accomplishments. Help others.

Is there anything I can help you with? Let me know as I am always willing to help (as long as it is legal lol)

As always...........

Great blog post. I think that people aim for success, naturally, but sometimes we need to learn of failure.

This is a really, really great post. And as you said, helping others is also a responsibility of a successful person, that's what makes success so great. If you're happy, you want other people to be happy, too. So, if you're successful, you might also want to see other people being successful, too. Plus, it's a great reward to know that you've helped other people succeed in their lives, too.

you define what success means to you, not what other people tell you success should be. And that means that you define failure as well, I personally don't have failures, I have learning experiences (corny I know) but that's how I look at my life.

Only you can know if you have truly been successful. Same things goes with failure as only you can determine what truly is failure.

Isn't success usually defined in relation to external events, to societal norms and conditions. Who defines what success really is anyway. Human beings in general seek more and more. So when is successful really successful and if you don't succeed are you then a failure.

Great post and very true. One other thing that is important is responsibility. We all need to take responsibility for our lives and stop blaming other for the bad things in our lives. I use a little formula I got from a Jack Canfield book. E+R=O, Event + Response = Outcome. No matter what the situation/event is, it is your response to this that determines the outcome. For people that want to be successful in life I would definitely recommend the book "The Success Principles" by Jack Canfield. It is an amazing book and will definitely help you achieve success in your life if you start true to your dreams and take 100% responsibility for your life.

Sometimes I find that to be the most hard when we think we know what someone else wants us to be like so we try to change who we are....although in the end...it never really gets you anywhere :)

Thank you so much for your comment :-) I agree totally about staying true to who we are.

I like your list of things! Each one of those things is so true no matter what the dream is. I think the hardest thing is to ask for help and and most importantly...staying true to who we are. It's so easy to lose ourselves when it comes to something we really want. Most times we are willing to do whatever it takes.
