Al Qaeda in Afghanistan did not attack the USA on 9/11. Even the FBI admit it: -

Tyler,
I agree with you about the Federal Reserve but you're mixing up Monetary with Military.
I believe the rest of us where referring to the latter.

Jaym, if we wanted to go after the REAL terrorists, the US government would be going after itself. OR, at least the Federal Reserve and the IRS.

Five days in and he's already correctly turned the focus back to the REAL area of the war on terror, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Amazing how Bush couldn't manage to do as much after so many years.

If Pakistan isn't going to clean out the tribal region, we have to. The difference is- we're justified in going after the terrorists within that region, as THEY are the ones that committed 9/11, unlike the lack of justification we had in Iraq which had nothing whatsoever to do with anything other than a Bush grudge and cash money.

I'm sure he acted under advice of his military advisors as all Presidents before him have.
This doesn't make the loss of civilian life any less painful but it certainly doesn't make Obama
any more of a villain than any President before or after him in this or any other country.
Until people learn to get along together, unnecessary and useless killing will always occur.
