A Netbook is just a smaller Notebook, they run either Windows or Linux. They can do almost anything that a notebook can (given enough time) so why are people dead set against them? Most computer users surf the web, collect there emails, watch videos online (From Youtube ) if that is all you do on a computer then why cash out for a £400 Notebook? Get a Netbook! Netbooks can't really handle playing games or doing anything that is to strenuous but they are perfect for the average computer user.

If you own a Netbook, post here the reasons why and what you use it for.

I recently bought and Acer Aspire One. before buying,I did a lot of research, checked out many laptops trying to find the perfect one for me. I knew I wouldn't be playing games on it, I wanted one that I could carry around, to uni or wherever. All I planned to do was browse the internet, write, twitter, etc. and that's pretty much what I've done with it. Installed the software I like and I find it very useful and I love how small it is. it's very mobile and the keyboard is really easy to use,I thought I'd need to get use to it but it was so easy, and comfortable that now typing anywhere else is rather uncomfortable. and my dad's feels so heavy now.
I really reccomend for average user, students, that sort of thing. and they're so cheap. I would've been saving for years for a decent laptop.
