OSX supports Blu-Ray play back, and HD-DVD, they just dont sell them with the drives as an optional extra because of licencing reasons. Google for "Blu-Ray Bag of hurt" and you should find some articals about it.

As far as a touch screen iMac goes, I can't see it. To me touch screen is just a gimmick. You'd have to seriously simplify interfaces and lower features, or at least the ease of getting to the features by using much larget icons and the like. It's not very screen space efficient. They have there uses but in every day desktop computing a lot will have to change in UI design for it to become mainstream.

I don't think they'll make a budget Mac either, Apple don't like to make things that compromise on quality and features which they'd have to do is they made a cheap model. A Mac Mini upgrade will most likely be as a close as it gets to budget. I'm not sure how popular those things are so they may see fit to discontinue them but you never know.

As far as the iPhone goes, I think it's a little too soon since the last update, so if anything it'd just be software based improvements. It'd be nice to get full proper flash and java support. Apparently Sun and Adobe have been working on more mobile specific versions of the apps so who knows?

I'm looking forward to the 17" MacBook Pro revision. It'll be interesting what they've been working on all this time. I have a feeling they'll be going Core i7.

iBox the newest game counsel. That would be very doubtful but they have been saying how the iPod Touch is the funnest iPod ever since you can play games on it. I would hope they update the Mac Mini because that's just long overdue and it doesn't look like anyone in the Mac family anymore except the cheapest White Macbook. What I think would be cool is have a low cost all in one Mac, like around $800 or even cheaper. I think that would be cool to get more desktop people to the Mac since some people may not want to get a monitor, keyboard and mouse. I sure wouldn't want to use my monitor if I got a Mac, and what about the people that still have CRT's! And people that don't have the right keyboards or something! I think that would just be awesome! A touch screen iMac almost seems like it should have been out a long time ago, and since Windows 7 is going to have it, they should at least offer it as an option for the iMac or a more expensive one. They also need support for BluRay since that's the format of the future, even though they don't have it on their own computers that they are selling. The Macbook Air would be nice if they got the glass touch pad and the black around the monitor... just to keep everything the same looking. I don't think there will be anything with the iPhone, unless it's just brought up for 5 minutes, but that's about it I would think. Ok I guess I'll stop rambling on about it. I'm excited for it though!
