Kids in Cars
Mothers, Fathers, Grandma's, Grandpa's, Aunts, Uncles and all other family members PLEASE LISTEN.
Put the kids in carseats! Don't leave them in the car! I'm not trying to infringe on anyones rights, just trying to save some kids lives. This is serious. So many children in our country still die every few minutes just for not being in a carseat or because they were left in the vehicle. Yes it takes a few minutes, Yes, it takes a few bucks. However, let me ask you this. Aren't thier lives worth it? Let me share with you how many times in my own short life I have saved someonelses kids life in these very situations. 4 Thats alot of times of being in the right place at the right time to actually make such a difference in people's lives. Why don't people get this? Once I was at QuickTrip (gas station). I pulled up to the gas pump and as I did, I seen the van in front of me starting to roll backwards. I quickly realized there was a child in the driver seat. Instantly, since I was the driver, I yelled at my boyfriend to get out and go shut the vehicle off! When he came back to the car he told me the van had 3 kids in it about the ages of 7, 5, 4. Oh my god! I was in shock! These childrens grandma had left them in the van with it running. Did I tell you where the van stopped at? Right directly in front of the gas pumps. Thank goodness we were in the right place at the right time for these kids and evryone at the station that day, but so sad for all of those where there was no one to help. Please if you took the time to read this, talk about it. Bring it up. Remind people , maybe they just forget. Possibly they just don' think it's that big of a deal. Let me also tell you this, if I see a car at the red light with the baby in the front seat or on someones lap I'm gona roll my window down and say something! Sorry if this is you, I know you'll thank me in 10 minutes when that truck hits you in the rearend and your baby doesn't fly out the windshield.
