First of all, I am new to the IMAC after spending all my timeusing PC's. I am still enjoying the new IMAC experience, but intrying to get the IMAC up to a level that will serve me as a work horse, I am fidning that the range of software I am used to using easilty, is not available on the IMAC, or I am just being extremely dense and missing obvious ways of doing things.

I am used to using Microsoft Web Expression, and I think it sucks big time in a lot of places, but it performs a simple task that (SO FAR) I havenot found on any MAC software APP. The ability to import a current website into the package and work on it, then upload it back to the host site again.

Dreamweaver? Gave up, utter carp. Supplied apps they do not have this BASIC FEATURE! I have looked and looked and looked, and to be honest given up, so.... C'mon MAC USERS! Show me where I am goign wrong and show me what ap will do this basic feature!!!!

Still cannot find any decent web design software for the mac.
So I will stick to Microsoft Expression Web 2 until such times the mac gets something better!
Pity there is no version of this for the MAC, on the studio software for manipulating images etc..

As I said, I'm trying to get the mac up to a standard I am used to on my PC. I see no need to emulate on the MAC I want it to be the main machine and be better or equal to the PC! But, as a newbie to the MAC I am looking for serious users to point me in the right direction, just don't get phased by a bit of banter between me and others about PC and MAC, remember, I'm in both camps! I have paid serious dues to get there!!!

LOL! They always try to slip those virtual machines in there, or multiple OS's. Not me, I still like my one stop shop, KIS (Keep it simple). Dang, I can even play some pretty cool games along the way too... LOL!

if you have already a license for windows, you can use that by installing windows in a virtual machine,
for a program like that should run smooth even on virtualization..
