My life is a joy. I can do a lot of things that some women never dream of doing and it pleases me.

However, the point of all of this is really just silly. Me telling all of y'all what I have been doing for two days. Does anyone really care? It would truly amaze me if they did.

Yesterday, I borrowed a neighbors truck to go pick up my lawnmower from where else....the lawnmower place. :) I asked the lady who took the mower in to call me with the details of what needed to be done and a quote of the repairs. A few days later I received a call from the owner of the shop telling me that my mower was ready and the charge. I asked why no one called to give me an estimate. He didn't say.

Well, I had it in my mind to give him a piece of my mind when I drove down there to get it, but I changed my mind. When I walked in the door giving my name and saying that I wanted to pick up my lawn mower, the look on his face told me all I needed to know. So, I decided yet again, that picking my battles is a good thing. If I had told him off, I would have probably come home feeling terrible. Not for telling him off but because I dislike confrontation. However, I will report him to the BBB and the Chamber of Commerce here in town.

Yesterday, I mowed my grass. The backyard was about to become a small forest since we have had nothing but rain. Thank goodness for self propelled mowers. It zipped right though the grass and I was nothing but sore today.

Sore or not, I decided to get out again today to put the finishing touches on the yard. Oh, I did not mention how I have no stopping sense when it comes to working outside. Not only did I touch things up but I moved Hostas. Big job of digging them up and then digging another hole to put them where I wanted. That would have been find but the beds had to be prepped. Meaning that all grass had to be dug up and the ground had to be loosened. My favorite thing to do in the whole world.....yeah buddy. :)

Now, I feel like the queen of the neighborhood. My yard looks great and just think, I will not have to do it again until next week. ha ha

Mowing the grass for me is a form of meditation. It's probably a guy thing, but I enjoy working and being in the flow and just letting me mind be at ease and at peace.

Good that you kept your cool, and finished the day as a proud worker.

Many people don't even deserve your spite.

Yep, I sure did and I am proud of myself. Dang, I only wish I had a riding lawnmower. I sure could use one in the backyard but the front is too small.
