Cannon EOS 1000D

hi i recently got gave a brand new Cannon EOS 1000D for Christmas and although this is my first digital SLR i am very pleased with the camera there is so much it can be used for although i will mostly be using it for sports i does great for any type of photo you will be taking if your looking for a high quality DSLR i highly recommend this one because although i haven't experienced many other DSLR cameras i have used digital camera and this beats all it has 10 megapixel which is extreme quality. Since im using mine for sports i will be getting a bigger lens for when im photographing racing but when it comes to sports close up like skateboarding which is one of my passions in life you can stick with the standard 18-55mm lens witch is fine for the job, i may be buying a fish eye for my camera but that is not necessary need if you don't want to spend big bucks. But if you don't want to pay £400 or 800 dollars then search around find the cheapest prices, you can save a bargain.

Comment by robbo on April 28, 2009 at 1:02pm: yeah i do definateley recommend it i have since used the 450d and did not like it as much as the 1000D if i was going to get another camera i would get a 1D mark II as i have used my friend who has studied photography for many years and it is a great camera but they do cost alot more than the 1000D

It actually sounded like the quality of the 1000D was good, like you said.
