Albania submitted a formal application for EU membership

Albania on Tuesday, April 28, formally applied for membership in the European Union.

The application for membership of the EU attached document describing the democratic achievements and developments in Albania. "Albania, as a member of NATO is committed to reforms and hold free and fair elections, which is a prerequisite for entry into the EU", - said earlier the Minister for European Integration in the Government of Albania Maylinda Breguet.
