Gimp

Have you ever wanted to have a program that was as powerful as Photo Shop but then you found out that is was way over your price range? Well here is a program that I feel is just as powerful as Photo Shop but is free named Gimp. You can find this program at www.gimp.org for free! This may sound to good to be true but its not. This is good but by no means for a pro but come on its free. So to sum this up I would think that a program like this would meet your needs for photo editing.

Comment by Grant on October 20, 2008 at 10:21pm: I've been a gimper for many years. In the last 2 or 3 years the program has improved greatly. The latest version (Gimp 2.6.1) is really impressive.

Two highly recommended sites for gimp related stuff. Tips, Help forum & video tutorials...Have fun :)
