What do you guys think of this:

I am just wondering what I should do about my adsense ads during this election period. I am very very strongly NO on Prop 8 (I am all for gay marriage and rights here in California), and yet the ad I have on my blog keeps showing Yes on Prop 8 ads! Ugh. :( Should I forget about using adsense until after the election, put a disclaimer like "the views expressed by adsense are not necessarily my own"), or leave them in and not worry about it? It does bother me though. Has anyone else complained about ads that express views that arent in agreement with their own?

I blogged about it on my Live Journal and, yes, others have been getting these as well. So I am wondering about you guys here on Geeks; those who use adsense on their blogs and are running into campaign ads that don't click with your beliefs.

Once the post moved away from the front page, took a few days and then the ads disappeared. :)

Well, Adsense is only displaying prop 8/gay rights ads because your content is about that issue. If you click on any of your posts that aren't talking about gays then there probably wont be gay rights ads. There is no way you can get pro gay rights ads only. Because it is all about keywords. I would assume the anti gays use the word "gay" as one of their keywords. So, if you want those to go away you got to talk about something else.
