Geeks is GREAT!

Finally!!! A community that I can stand.

First off the layout is next to perfect, and the user friendliness of it is amazing. There are certain features that I wonder why they have not been implemented in other sites. Facebook and MySpace are out of hand and absolutely ridiculous. They have turned into "How much crap can we fit on a page". MySpace is more specific though. How much old school HTML junk can we fit on a page. Oh and I hope you aren't epileptic, cause all the flicker flash of the wall comments might set you off. But I digress. I just really hope thats not where this ends up. I can tell there was a lot of planning and prep that went into this site, and can't give enough credit to Pirillo and whoever else had a hand in on this. The way it's laid out makes it seem like there is no reason to visit any of the other sites ever again. It all right here. Of course that will not be the case, but I know what my new favorite site is.

I am not much of a blogger, so this may be my last post for a long time. I just wanted to say that I''m thoroughly impressed with this site, and look forward to seeing where it goes. As long as it stays this way and doesn't blow up inot aps upon aps.

The biggest plus to this is that we all already share a common ground. We're all GEEKS. In our own respect of course. I really think that is what will set this apart from the other sites, in that it is geared at a specific group and may filter out the peeps that are just randomly floateing around signing up for whatever they stumble upon.

Anyway, I look forward to meeting some of you and hearing what you have to say about whatever it is you have to say.
