So, on October 10th, 2009, Apple came out with brand spanking new Macs. They made updates to the iMacs, Mac Mini, MacBook, the mouse and remote. Here's my impressions of what I seen on the Apple website.
The new iMacs: I must say, I'm rather impressed by the new design. I love that it has 4 USB ports and now an SD card slot just below the SuperDrive. I'm in the process of redoing my site. The one thing I'm looking for is holding me up a little.
I don't plan to host a blog but use my Posterous blog (http://outsanity.posterous.com) as my main blog. What I want is to be able to use PHP and I assume the RSS feed of my blog is needed to pull in the first new entry on there with the title and link it to the post.

1. OVERRATED: Touch interface (iPhone 3G) - UNDERRATED: A good keyboard (Sidekick 2008)
I kinda agree on this. Touch screens may be easier and the new thing to replace a mouse now that it's coming to computers but, it's way better to have some kind of keyboard. A PHYSICAL keyboard.

Ok, I admit I'm still loving this iMac but... I love just how easily you install shit on here. It's like "drag-drop-done".
I'm upset that all these torrent folks don't have any copy of CS3 or CS4 for the Mac. I uploaded my unboxing vids to YouTube but, I had to edit them in iMovie. Took a while to figure that program out but, it encoded my vids faster than After Effects. You hear that Adobe? That's FUCKED UP! Sorry I haven't been on Geeks as much. Not ignoring the site. Just been busy at work and still getting used to this iMac and it's witchcraft. I say witchcraft because when I first turned this on, it already knew my local time. Anyways, I'm having fun with this damn Mac. Why didn't people tell me this sooner?
The remote is slightly useful with iTunes and playing videos. Not sure if it takes batteries tho there is a little latch flap at the bottom.

I'm going to get me a Mac finally BUT, my key issues is should I stick with the iMac or should I get the MacBook instead?
Granted that I'll be using it (either Macs) more on the photo/video editing side but, I wouldn't mind being portable with the MacBook. Problem is, I know I won't be going anywhere with the MB.
