Wow I can't believe this year is almost out, just one more full month. Already I'm making plans for what I'm going to be doing for Christmas, of course my birthday is approaching at this very moment. What I find amazing about this year is that I managed to make 7 out of 9 resolutions come true. A first for me, usually I'm never able to keep them, but this year was different. Of course this year has been no ordinary year, but it will be nice to see a new year come upon us soon. I started the year… Continue

Pocket God is actually an ok game to play when you’re bored. Basically you’re a God like being to Pygmies. You can strike them with lighting, throw them in the Volcano, or feed them to a shark. There are many ways to handle these little guys, and you know what they are some little troopers. No matter how bad it is they always come back for more.
The application is updated on a regular basis, each update brings something new, and a hint is in the Episode title. The most recent… Continue

This game starts out easy but gradually gets harder as the levels progress. I play this game to work my mind, it really gets you to thinking. Basically the game is trying to untangle the lines. No line should cross another, a good line goes green while a bad one goes red, and the orange lines are neutral. The game can get addicting, not as addicting as Sudoku but close, reminds of when I used to spend time trying to solve the Rubik’s Cube.
The game is $4.99 in the iTunes App… Continue

There are times when I get tired of looking at things the way they are, and what I mean by that is the way my surroundings are setup. I think I get this from my mom, she would rearrange the living room and her bedroom whenever she got bored with it. Which would be like every couple of months, and I used to hate it because I would get used to it and BAM she’d change it up again.
Now today I find myself doing the same thing my mom used to do when I was young. I can’t keep my place one way for too… Continue
Classics is an application for the iPhone and iPod Touch that allows you to read classic book titles such as “Robinson Crusoe”, “A Christmas Carol”, “Alice in Wonderland”, and many others. I have always loved the classics when it comes to books, in middle school I fell in love with “Treasure Island” which is also in the Classics library.
I do find myself reading these books when I just want to unwind and relax. I usually do my work on my site and keep up with everything. Ther… Continue
UAC was introduced in Windows Vista, and has proven to be a bit of an annoyance to some users. Prompting many to turn the feature off, which is very easy to do. Though I personally don’t recommend it. The best way would be to click on the Start orb, click the User picture, this takes you to user accounts, click turn UAC on or off, you will be prompted if UAC is turned on. Click continue, and deselect, click ok, and you will be asked to restart now, or later.
When you turn off… Continue

For a while now Follow Friday has been a good way for people to recommend great people to follow on twitter. As a geek I use twitter for sharing information, and interest. One of the people I follow made the statement to me that "more followers isn't better, better followers is more". What I mean by better followers is that none of this spam crap, not someone who spews out senseless nonsense. I’ve used Follow Friday since June I believe, but with the introduction of Twitter Lists Follow F… Continue
Which game system do you prefer to game on, Xbox 360, the Wii, or the PlayStation 3? Maybe you’re not a console person, maybe you’re a PC gamer?
I have many games laying around here, and most of which are for my outdated PS2. I do have a few games for the 360, I have none for PS3 because I do not own one, nor do I own a Wii. I do have a few games for my PC though, and I do play them regularly. It’s usually a choice between Halo 2 and GTA IV, and Halo usually wins out. I do love my games and enj… Continue

Music can be an important part of someone’s life, it can even set moods. For me I’m more open minded when it comes to music. I listen to variety instead of just one Genre. I used to listen to hip hop and R&B but now I listen to alternative, metal, new age, stuff like that. My favorite group now a days is Paramore, and I love the gothic sounds of Nox Arcana, Dark Sanctuary, Dargaard, and many more.
I have a lot of imagination, and when these songs play I get lost in my own little world. Espe… Continue
I like many other Geeks, am on multiple social sites. Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, and FriendFeed are just a few examples of this. I previously that I use Ping.fm to ping my status to all my social sites, however I recently changed this when TweetDeck v0.30.5 was released. It added support for Myspace and it’s moods. To be honest I prefer this do to the fact that now I don’t have to keep logging into Ping.fm’s website.
I guess you could say that I find this version of TweetDec… Continue

What a hectic week I’ve had, between getting ready for my dad’s visit and dodging some of the drama from my family it’s been a pain. My family on one side I try no to talk about because they are not what I would call moral. I love them but some of them I really am distancing myself from. Other than that my brothers are cool, and I love my sister.
It was nice to see my dad, and hang out with him and my mom. We were everywhere while he was here, Tomball, Katy, Houston, and of course Pasadena. Kat… Continue

I’m not supposed to be drinking soda, but I do because I’m addicted so to speak lol. My favorite soda is Dr.Pepper, and no I’m not endorsing Dr.Pepper. I just like the taste. I like drinking juice, water, and tea. Tea being my fav by the way. I’ve been trying to get on a healthier track when drinking, but always end up back tracking.
Like I said before this is one of those random things that I post, only this time instead of a glass of tea in a picture there is a video. Speak… Continue

What do you use to record your favorite TV shows? TiVo, Comcast DVR, Windows Media Center?
This is a cool time to be in, I remember when I was a kid and had to record my favorite shows to VHS and would have to hope there was a enough tape. However these tapes would degrade over time, and when DVD’s came out there still was no real way to record and digitize unless you wanted to spend a lot of money.
Now we have things like TiVo, Windows Media Center, Comcast DVR, and etc. I… Continue
Do you subscribe to any blogs? If so which blogs do you subscribe to, and what are they mostly about?
For instance you might subscribe to a blog because you agree with the persons perspective, or political views. You might find a persons blog to be educational, or comical. I for instance subscribe to mostly tech and science blogs because I am into technology, and do consider myself a bit of a scientist.
Some blogs that I have subscribed to for example deal with electronics,… Continue

This I know has nothing to do with tech, but I figured I take the time to speak about my favorite drink. I love tea, I love it hot or cold. Sweetened and unsweetened. For many people tea is preferred when in a restaurant, or just to drink around the home. I drink it because it’s healthier than a sod… Continue
I figured I’d take the time to say some of my interest. People often find it funny that I still watch Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network. This is because at heart I’m still pretty much a kid. I find shows like Drake & Josh, and iCarly to be hilarious. and yes I do watch SpongeBob, LOL. I’ll watch Johnny Test on CN, and of course later when Adult Swim comes on I’ll watch Family Guy, King of the Hill, and especially Robot Chicken.
I love anime, Big O is pretty good, my favorite of Course is Drag… Continue
What is happening on Oct. 22, 2009?
Well if the title doesn’t answer it then I don’t know what to tell you, it’s the release of Windows 7. The successor to Windows Vista, what 7 promises to bring to the table is faster loading time, new codec support, new taskbar, and reliability. It’s everything Windows Vista wasn’t and in many was is what Vista should have been. Now Vista was not an Epic Fail, like Windows ME, but more of a smudge between Windows XP and Windows 7.
I teste… Continue
Last week a federal judge in east Texas ordered that Microsoft would have to stop selling it’s word processing software Word within 60 days due to copyright issues. A company in Canada called i4i Inc. stated that Microsoft infringed on their copyrighted patent dealing with XML technology. A patent that was submitted originally in 1994. This news has also caused some concerns among the open source community, but from what I understand there is no cause for concern in that area. They have stated t… Continue

I am still settling into my new place and getting back on a normal schedule, I have stated that I will be making post soon on mike.tecnicle.com and YouTube. I’ve arrived in my new home, I feel overly anxious to being my work here. I find a lot that needs to be done with this place, and I’m seeing a lot of potential. I arrived a week or so ago, it is a big change. My dog Max has to get used to our new home, but I have to admit, it’s nice to be around family. My internet is on, and I got cable, I put in AC my first Saturday here. I brought my Hamsters and Rabbits also, I lost one hamster on the trip here, but the others survived.
So far I’ve seen my… Continue
