Summer Plans

Ahh summer! It's right around the corner, if it's not already here. The weather sure is here. I live in Lubbock, Texas, which is in kinda North Texas. It's hot. Been hot. Going to stay hot. I love it. I live in Texas, so as you can image it's hot most of the year. That's what most people think, and it's true. I mean, there hasn't been any snow here for the past 4 years. I love it. Though I do love snow. Enough of that stupid weather talk. Onto summer plans. Summer vacation is defiantly popular… Continue

Netflix for Xbox LIVE - Muy Bueno

This may be really late, but I must CONGRATULATE Microsoft for giving us such a great feature to an already great lineup of features to the mother of all of these great features, Xbox LIVE! Netflix has chanced the face of Xbox LIVE, it really has. Before, I was not a user, or subscriber to Netflix. It was something that I really just didn't pay attention to. I would see all of the commercials, and I would just let my mind wander during those commercials or something, like it was just another ca… Continue

Recommended AntiVirus Software

Okay, so I've been downloading some files recently, and I've been slack lately on scanning them before I open them, and I opened one file that have a Trojan on it. I've ran SuperAntiSpyware a lot, and it's gotten most of it, but the Trojan has infected a System 32 file on Windows Vista (home premium) I have ran Avast! like crazy, and it has found nothing. In fact it thinks that SuperAntiSpyware is a virus and it wants me to delete it. I don't know if the Trojan also got to SuperAntiSpyware also… Continue

Mac OS X Leopard

Ok, so I have Windows Vista Home Premium, and it works like a charm. I haven't had any problems with it at all, software or hardware related. It's great. But ever since I started following Chris about a year ago, and saw that he was an avid Mac user, I have been questioning whether or not my new computer should be a Mac or a regular Windows desktop. I choose the Windows desktop obviously, because of financial issues. I have discovered the joy of torrenting though in the past few monthes, and I… Continue

SSD!

This is inspired by Chris' video on SSD, and his new Samsung one that rebotted his Mac "stupid fast" in his words. That pretty much proved to me that SSD's are the way to go. I have a couple of questions about them though, and my eyes are weak at the moment (condition=laziness) so it would be pretty cool if you guys could answer them. Does anyone know where I could find some good deals on GOOD SSD's. I'm going to be putting one in my computer. No doubt about that. What is the technology behin… Continue

YouTube vs. Hulu

It is an intresting subject. YouTube, the center of nearly all good, bad, nasty, whatever video. It's all on YouTube. It can be eductaional, sad, funny, etc. It can be whatever you want it to be. You can add videos, you can have playlists and favorites, and profiles, which you can customize. You can make friends with some really cool people, and stay in touch with close friends. It's very social. Hulu on the other hand is more "professional". You get your TV shows, and some movies, streaming on… Continue
