Christmas Conundrum: Gifts For the Kids

My ex and I are in an argument over what he should give the boys for Christmas. He believes that he should give them a Wii, and I say they need their own computer (so they can stop wrecking mine!). "Relevant" Social Networking - Gnomepal vs Ning

I've been doing a little bit of checking up on this thing called Ning. Pretty interesting, and not at all what I expected for a social networking platform. I like the ability to personalize without effort, but I have to admit I'm saddened by the lack of major social network support (twitter, friendfeed, identi.ca?).
