Hi
I am myself quite overweight and because of that kind of shy.
But I have got myself an "idol" and that person is Ron Knight
He is overweight himself but he does his own thing in his video blogging.
He just talk about everything that he feels like, espesially "The Beast" computer.
He got it from his father and it is a "kickasss" computer.
Ron still likes his iMac from Apple and has it as a main computer.
I envy you Ron for having both a Apple PC and a Windows PC.
It seems that both MAC OS X…

After the move to a new apartment I was going through the music CD´s that I´ve got.
Some of them gave the CD reader a headake, they started to get old and harder to read.
So now I have started to make backup of them all on my computer.
Not as MP3´s but as image files. I want to keep them as they are, not compressed.
They take some space on the hard drive but it´s worth it to keep them as a original.
If the original CD is lost, breaks and will be unreadable I can just burn it out on a new CD.
It…

It´s hard to move "your hole life" in three days.
It can be done if you want to live in a mess of furniture and boxes for a few days.
The second day of moving, most of my stuff is now in my new apartment.
There is still some stuff in my old apartment but not that much.
Soon it´s just some cleaning of the old apartment left.
I don´t have a video yet but I put some pictures on my own site.
I hope you can access them.

Tomorrow I will move to a smaller apartment.
Most of my stuff is now in different boxes, even my main computer, the desktop.
The only tech-stuff I got right now is my internet, router, laptop and the 24" monitor.
The only network cabel is the one between the internet outlet and the router.
I´m running wireless between the router and the laptop (802.11n, 300 Mbit).
I have only seen the new apartment once and that was three months ago.
It´s quite nice. One bedroom, livingroom, kitchen, toilet and…

Speech recognition in windows Vista is quite nice.
I haven't tried it for about an hour right now and it works quite well. It´s not perfect but it works.
I think you have to have a good microphone and have good pronouncing of the english words.
For me, who is from Sweden, don´t really have that good pronouncing so some words when you "speech type" comes out wrong.
Mouse and keyboard isstill a lot faster than speech recognition but it´s still a nice function.
I hope a Swedish version will come o…

I have had my own website for a while now that I´ve tried to create with FrontPage 2003. FrontPage 2003 is OK and pretty easy to use for a person who knows how to handle a computer. But after a while I missed some functions in it and the page didn´t really look the way I wanted.
I hav been using Office 2007 for over a year now and didn´t know what Expression Web was in the begining.
Expression Web is included in some editions of Office 2007.
So I starded to work with Expression Web instead of F…

Well, the winter is coming around the corner here in Sweden.
Today (2008-10-31) the first snow came to the city I live in.
Not much, but it´s still snow. It will probably melt away in the morning.
Soon we will have 4 months of snow, ice and subzero temperatures.
I´m already looking forward to next summer.
I don´t care about the spring because I´m alergic to pollen.
Damn you flowers and trees.

Me and my dad had a thing that connected us together, besides the genetics.
That thing is called "music".
My dad and me liked the same kind of music.
It was Dire Straits and Jean Michell Jarre.
We went on a concert with Jean Michell Jarre in Sweden on the "Globe arena" in Stockholm.
We both loved the concert.
That was in 1998, 6 month after my dad lost one of his leg.
Today it´s 2008 and my dad is dead.
He died in cancer in 2001, seven years ago.
When I listen to Dire Straits and Jean Michel…

Strange topic, I know, but keep reading.
I was on YouTube searching for different things.
One thing was the word "Geek".
Lots of videos came up, around 50,000 of them.
I choosed "Uploaded: this week" just so that it wouldent be so many.
I clicked on a video called "HELP! Geek Assistance Needed!"
Then I notices that she wasn´t really like the rest of us.
That cought my attension a little bit.
So I went to her profile and noticed in her description that she´s got Asperger's Syndrome
The videos t…

"Hi ya´ll"
My friends girlfriend was going to a party with her friends.
He asked me if i wanted to have some beer and later going to the pub.
Sounds nice to me, just the two of us friends, without women.
The thing is that my friend was a little to drunk for the pub when I met him.
He insisted that we should get to the pub.
When you are really drunk, you think that you could manage anything.
My friend thought so, but I didn´t.
When it was time to go to the pub, my friend told me to go ahead of…

I have passed the age of 30 and I like it very much thank you.
Computers and cell phones came in to my life in mid 90´s when I was about 20 years old.
Before that it was Commodore 64 and that kind of stuff that was "cool".
Today every "kid" is given a computer and a cell phone at birth.
They ask me today how we managed to live our lifes before that.
Pretty easy actually, just pic up your ordinary phone at home, set a time when to meet and where.
You didn´t have to call etchother every single se…

I have been using the Google Chrome (beta) web-browser for a day or two on my notebook.
After those two days I will go back to Internet Explorer 7 until Chrome is out from it´s Beta.
Chrome makes my hole notebook to lock up so that I can´t do anything with it except restart it the hard way.
I heaven´t tried IE8 Beta yet but I bet it´s more stable than Google Chrome.
I like the new "slim" look of Chrome, but I wont use it while it will be in Beta.

You hear about backup everywhere. "You need to backup your data."
Well, what kind of data do you need to backup anyway?
Some data is more important than others, of course.
Other data you can delete whenever you want to.
The thing is, what data do you want to keep and what data do you want to keep?
My suggestion is to keep all of your files in one folder.
Then you make subfolders in the main folder, like Word-files, Pictures and so on.
Then you only have one main folder to backup.
I think the b…

I am a Windows-user and I only use iTunes to buy "mp3"-CD´s and to listen to radio-streams.
I live in Sweden and iTunes store works great but it doesn´t have that much alternative music.
It just got the top 10 Euro and american music.
I try to search for music I usuallu listen to but iTunes don´t find it.
Maybe because I´m connected to the Swedish store in iTunes.
The iTunes store works just fine. Pay for the album and download it.
The you can burn the album to CD in iTunes if you want.
I use…

There is a war out there among us geeks. The war is called OS X vs Windows.
I don´t say MAC vs PC because both of them are a PC.
PC = Personal Computer
Both MAC and a Windows-machine is a personal computer.
I don´t really understand the "war" between OS X and Windows.
Both are good in their own specific ways.
If OS X works for you, good for you. Same thing for Windows-users, good for you.
I have been a Windows-geek since 1997. That was the year that I´ve got my first PC
It had Windows 95 insta…

One of my friends sent me an SMS and wonderd if I wanted to follow him and hia girlfriend to the pub.
It´s Saturday night so, why not. I´m a little bit drunk right now but I had a fun eavning at the pub.
Meeting new friends and stuff. I hope that the friendship holds on after the beer has "come out of your system".
You meet a lot of friend when you are drunk. 90% of them will dissapear the next day.

Call me stupid but isn´t Expression Web the most anoying program to work with? I just can´t get the frames placed where I want them to be. If I change one frame, onother is "destroyed", and so on. Man, I hade so high hopes for Expression Web but it takes more time to fix the frames, I don´t have the time to fix enything else. I think I will start over from the beginning. It´s easier and faster than to fix the mess I´ve made right now.

I have been intressted in designing my own webpage for a couple of years now.
My first site were very simple and I basicly made it with Notepad.
First I copied a an old page (that don´t exists today) and started to edit it in Notepad.
After a while I found it quite time-consuming to edit everything in Notepad.
But editing in Notepad learnd me something about HTML-code, so it was not in vain.
Tierd of Notepad as an HTML-editor I was searching for a program that would make my work easier.
I wante…
