It seems that lots of new users now are here to just spam the board or troll which is turning Geeks! into just another website because the quality of user seems to be dropping. I remember that when I signed up for Lockergnome that I was screened and had to write what I would use as my first post and I think that the Geeks sign-up process would benefit from something like this also.
I'm just saying that I don't want Geeks! and the quality of the content to rapidly decline because a few people ju…

Another year has gone and another year is here. I am not sure what I have in mind for 2009. I would like to be more confident, gain more weight and just be happy. As far as technology goes, well, there is not a lot I want. Maybe a Nintendo Wii or an Xbox 360, I don't know.
What are your aspirations for the New Year?
Take care.

I would just like to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas and a great New Year :)
I hope that you all get what you want for Christmas.
A huge thanks goes to all the great friends I have made on here and also to Chris Pirillo for making Geeks what it is :)
Thank you everyone.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.

It was my birthday yesterday :)
I am now 25, I guess I should say that I am officially an adult.
For my birthday I got the latest Genesis DVD and a Sony Ericcson W810i phone :)
Take care everyone.

Hello Everyone.
Next saturday (27th) is my 25th birthday. I have no plans for it whatsoever, same as the last four birthdays. What plans would you recommend? Is 25 the year where you are officially an adult or do you think it is 18?
Comments are welcomed :)
Take care.

After downloading iTunes and installing it last night (it took a long time) I was eagerly anticipating the Genius feature.
Only when I install it do I find out that Genius is not available where I live :(
ITunes 8 still looks nice though. My question is, how does Genius perform and is it worth it?
Take care.

Hello Everyone.
The weekend is pretty much upon us (well, it is for me at least) and so what are your plans?
Mine will mostly involve seeing a movie I expect, can anyone recommend me something good? I also have to fix my girlfriend's computer which randomly freezes up from time to time and I generally just want to relax. I might buy some new PS2 games, I want to get older games like Wipeout Fusion or Guitar Hero III. Can anyone recommend me some PS2 games also? I play anything although I love…

Hello Everyone.
As much as I am a fan of Microsoft it would seem that the beta of IE8 contains, for me, one glaring bug.
For those who have it installed try simply copying a URL as text and pasting it in the address bar.
What happens?
For me, every single time, IE8 crashes and has to restart!
How this bug stayed in until the beta stage I don't know. But I am glad I am sticking with FireFox anyway.
Take care everyone.

Hello Everyone.
Well, I cannot believe I have even written a book let alone managed to get it published! It is only being published in Thailand but if anyone is even remotely interested in reading it who does not live here then just let me know and I will try and work something out :)
My book is basically about my experiences living in Thailand as an expat (I am 24, British) and all the perils and pitfalls I encounter along the way in two years of living here :) It is also mainly about love an…
