After reading this book, it is now one of my favorites. If you have ever read anything by Dan Brown, chances one of his are yours too! This book is pure genius, right there along with all of his others. Some of this well-known books are Da Vinci Code and Angles and Demons. If you're into cryptography, and well technology, as most of us are, then this book is for you! It's a very very quick read and I'm definitely recommending this! Continue

As many of you may or may not know, I was at one time very active on YouTube, until I decided to take a bit of a break for various reasons. Before I was on the "Wonderful World of Windows" (sarcasm) & now I've purchased a Mac Mini (2.53ghz) and I absolutely love it, which is part of the reason why I'm coming back to YouTube for the reason I would like to do lots more screencasts for all of you guys. Also I'm planning to continue with various product reviews, and how-to's.… Continue

I've finally done it. I've gone to what many call "the light side"...Mac. I've been a Windows guy all of my life. I've gone through Windows 98, 2000, XP, Vista, and finally Windows 7. All decent operating systems, even Vista (SP2) but once I got to Windows 7 I had had enough. I had to reinstall twice just to get Aero to work, and to get rid of the error messages for just about every program. By no means here am I bashing Windows, I've always liked it a lot, just not in love with it.
So, I had d… Continue

As you may or may not have seen, I have acquired an old Macintosh Classic. Manufactured in the year 1990, the days where computers where just becoming popular and relevant to the America life.
This was found in the garbage that my dad decided to pick up for me, and I'm sure glad he did! Tried to get it working, but I think its days are finished, still a great piece of art though!

It's been two days since my reinstall, a clean install, of Windows 7. If you have read the last post I wrote, "Endless Problems with Windows 7" you can see that I had a great deal of issues. So with all of that in mind, I decided that it would be best for me to simply do a clean install of Windows 7, just to get out the bugs from the last install.
Now, two days after the second install, Windows 7 seems to… Continue

Many people have claimed that Windows 7 lots better then what Vista or XP was. Well for me, that's certainly not the case. Ever since using Windows 7, I have encountered numerous problems.
One of the main ones is happening on iTunes. When adding music/podcasts/video I get an error message. The message says this: "The iTunes Library file cannot be saved. You do not have enough access privileges for this operation." That's it. I have researched for days on what the solution could be. So far, noth… Continue

I was one of those people who had said "why upgrade"? I liked Windows Vista, it simply worked for me. There were people said that I obviously didn't do anything with my computer. Well that's not true. I did do a lot with Windows Vista, and I have to say it worked. There were occasionally a few programs that would simply not install with Windows Vista. For example TeamViewer worked fine with Windows XP, but not Vista.
Yesterday, I got Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. I performed a clean install, and g… Continue

Well, it's been a few weeks since the release of Windows 7 and so far I have heard nothing but great thoughts on it! So, I'm very much thinking about switching from Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit to Windows 7, to either Premium or Professional. Which edition would you choose?
To… Continue

Today, October 22, 2009, Windows 7 has been released. Many are very excited for the much anticipated launch. But with this release brings about some decisions... Which edition is best for you.
With Windows 7, three separate editions are offered; Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional, and Ultimate. Microsoft thankfully decided to tip off Home Basic, well because simply, it just made the whole matter more confus… Continue

It seems as if this week everyone has caught something. Today, being Columbus Day, we still had school. I should be there right now, but I'm currently home with a bad cold or possibly the flu. (Please no!)
There have been two reported cases of H1N1, or Swine flu, at our school. For one girl, today was her first day back to school in three weeks, she was one of the victims to H1N1. I checked on Facebook this morning, and saw update after update of people saying… Continue

With all of the social networks nowadays do you think it's possible that email will become a thing of the past? When people need to reach one another, they can do it through a number of free social networks very easily. Say Twitter for example. With a few folks that I am familiar with it's easier and quicker to get a hold of them through Twitter then say calling them.
For me, I mainly use my email for automatic notifications from different websites that I am a member of. Rarely I will need to e… Continue

How do you back up your iTunes media? By external drive? Online services? Well I have been backing up via my 120gb Maxtor external hard drive. It's worked out well, but not as well as I would like it to. Today DannyMinick suggested to me why not use Home Sharing? Brilliant.
For those that are not familiar with iTunes Home Sharing, it's a feature in iTunes 9 which allows you to copy any media from the original iTunes library. All you have to do is… Continue

Very recently released, Tweetie 2 is finally here! It's now available in the iTunes App Store for a price of $2.99. Is it worth it? Well that's up for you to decide. For those of you that are on OS X, you are defiantly going to enjoy the interface of this app. The bottom tabs are all designed to look some what like the dock in OS X, which is pretty neat and creative. It allows you to have more then… Continue
Recently released in the iTunes App Store was the CNN app for the iPhone. This app has been very much anticipated by CNN lover's all around. Inside the app are some very neat features. For example, you are able to watch live video, stored video, view your local news, view the iReport, and of course view all of the recent headlines.
The app interface is very clean, no complaints here! For those o… Continue

The current version is Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision, was and still is a major hit with the group of online gamers. I personally am a huge fan and I think it was the best Call of Duty edition, so far.
Currently, the new and exciting talk in the gaming world is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The set release date is to be on November 10, 2009. If… Continue

“Share your photos. Watch the world” as Flickr says, and that’s now exactly what you can do with the recently released iPhone app, Flickr by Yahoo. This for sure, is one amazing app. First, you are able to log in with your account information. Once you have done that, you can upload photos directly from your iPhone, view recent activity and uploads, view your personal photo stream, search, and view all contacts. Every feature on this app works flawlessly! On the startup page, the app provides yo… Continue

The other day I was very happy to learn that Yahoo released a Flickr app for the iPhone and iPod Touch! And the reason why I was so pleased to hear the news was because I’m somewhat new to the Flickr community, and had recently uploaded lots of pictures. After doing so I became more and more involved in Flickr. Before, I had been using the mobile web for Flickr.com and, it was decent. A lot better then some sites are on the mobile web. But this app was so much better then what used to be m.flick… Continue

Windows 7. It's a pretty popular topic in the community these days, but I just wanted to see if there were any others out there like me. I for one like Windows Vista, and I don’t think I am going to make the switch to Windows 7.
For one, why switch when Vista has given me no real issues? I like the interface, I like the features, and it just plain works for me.
And another reason is the cost. I don’t really have the money right now to spend $300+ on an OS. Windows 7 prices are way to high, but… Continue

Hey guys! I had been watching numerous videos on YouTube with people posting HD 16:9 videos that just looked outstanding. My friend Alex Tsui posted his first video with the webcam and as you can see the quality is excellent.
I had recorded one of my first videos with the webcam a little while back to see what the HD quality looked like on YouTube. So I uploaded it, and it did look great, but the only drawback was that it wasn’t 16:9. I had looked at every setting in the software, and tried to… Continue
