Adam The Geek Place

A little less than a month ago, I bought a domain to try to get an IRC network community together. Last week or the week before, I opened the network. I call it, The Geek Place. It is still quite small, but there is always room for expansion, which takes time. We only have 2 staff members, myself and Dom, and only 1 server linked to us. They are all running great and we do have a few users on there that we know from other IRC networks, which is great. We have a Twitter and a Website that we regu… Continue

Josh The Dangers and Toxicity of our current E-Waste Recycling System

Bryan Walsh’s article “E-Waste Not” from TIME Online, published Thursday, January 08, 2009 explains some of the dangers associated with our current E-Waste System. The Article talks about all of the E-Waste (Electronic-Waste) that is deposited at landfills in numerous countries. The United States is currently the large provider of E-Waste, because of the obsolete use of the technology in just under 3 years. If the top producers of e-waste do not control this danger, then people in the East Asia… Continue

Krishan Sharma The Men Who Stare At Goats Review

Plot : 2 Humour : 4 1/2 If you are looking for a film that makes you think and is really "deep" this is not the film for you, however if you are looking for a good laugh then "The Men Who Stare At Goats" is the perfect film for you. The film is hilarious and gets the whole cinema laughing. The film follows a reporter, Bob Wilton, who is down in the dumps and is looking for a way to boost himself. He wants to become a war reporter. Whilst waiting to get across the Iraqi border he comes in conta… Continue

Agent Popescu Water FOUND on the Moon

I really had to write this to my blog. Looks like water finds itself even in places you don't think it exists, even through it is in other forms than we are used to it's still water. Anyway, imagine what this means, if water has been found on the Moon there could be thousands of other life forms out there. Something tells me that as soon as we get closer to 2012 more things about the universe will come clear, not to mention we might be contacted by an actual intelligent race. Secondly there are… Continue

Adam The Ugly Truth

I am not that big on doing movie reviews because I don’t really write good reviews on them. However, I just got done watching The Ugly Truth, starring Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler, and it was really good. First off, it is definitely not a family movie, so don’t show it to young kids. It is about a movie producer named Abby who is getting low ratings until she gets a new host named Mike to host the show, The Ugly Truth. I don’t want to ruin the entire story, but if you like comedy movies, an… Continue

Mike Copeland The Plateau

This game starts out easy but gradually gets harder as the levels progress. I play this game to work my mind, it really gets you to thinking. Basically the game is trying to untangle the lines. No line should cross another, a good line goes green while a bad one goes red, and the orange lines are neutral. The game can get addicting, not as addicting as Sudoku but close, reminds of when I used to spend time trying to solve the Rubik’s Cube. The game is $4.99 in the iTunes App… Continue
