Tedd FTC Can Fine Bloggers $11,000

You read that right! Bloggers can now be fined by the FTC up to $11,000 if they fail to report when they are being paid by a company to review products. For the first time since 1980, the FTC has updated its "Guide Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials." "....bloggers who make an endorsement must disclose the material connections they share with the seller of the product or service. And a paid endorsement – like any other advertisement – is deceptive if it makes false or misleadin… Continue

Sbushfan11 #Chris Chatroom Rules

I have been in #Chris For about a year and a half now and yes I have been kicked and also banned for breaking the rules. I never said anything about why I was kicked or banned. I learned from my own mistakes and have never been kicked or banned again. I thought wyldryde was for appealing a ban from #Chris or the wyldryde network . I guess now geeks has now become a new place to let out people's anger about being kicked or banned. If I was ever ban for any r… Continue

Calob What to do today... ah! Apple!

Well, as you most likely know by now, I'm such a Mac-addict. Well, for that matter, just state me as a Apple-obsessive! I'm also such a nostalgia geek, too. So, obviously, I should probably make a blog post about meh main comp'ny and their history! The year: 1984. The Reason: Macintosh. The followup: Simply the most incredible phenomenon to ever occur from a computer company. Apple, even from the start, has been so far ahead of the game. One word can explain this: the mouse. (Okay, that was tw… Continue

Gabriel Mac or PC?

I'm a guy who likes video editing, games, and multitasking. I'm currently saving up to buy an iMac. I was originally going to buy a Mac but then I decided to buy a PC, but then I went back to Mac. Why? PC- memory hogging and made by TWO different companies. Mac- Better OS. Flows smoother. Doesn't take 4 hours to load Firefox. Software AND hardware are made by Apple. I'm not a big "Apple vs. PC" ranter, but what do you guys think? Continue

Francis Young Why the MacBook Air Rulez!

Call me crazy, but I think the Macbook Air is a great product for users. I know there has been many users who complain about how slow and laggy it is but you have to give Apple one thing; it serves its purpose. You may be wondering why do I love this product and defend Apple so fiercely even though it's really slow. There are 7 reasons as to why i love the Macbook Air: 1. Apple's unique design. It feels like the Air was blessed by Apples designers and given such a holy look that even the angles… Continue

DogReader 'Dog Proofing' Children

Young children need to be 'dog proofed'. Even children who have a dog (or dogs) in the home need these basics. Not every dog is friendly and there are some necessary lessons. These three dog rules are meant to be simple and few but they are absolutely essential for safety: 1. do not run away - stay still. A child cannot outrun a dog. The sight of a fleeing child will excite the dog even more and may trigger a further aggressive response. 2. do not scream - be very quiet. Sound ma… Continue

Computerwhiz1 Some Rules to Follow When E-mailing.
