Ok so yesturday I finally got round to upgrading my pc from vista to windows 7 and I have to say god damn its good. Let me elaborate, I didn't like the aero feature of vista as it slowed my pc down quite considerably, even though I run an 8800 GT with 4 Gb of ram but in Windows 7 I haven't noticed any slow down at all I can't believe it. Also the other thing that I didn't like about vista was the UAC couldn't stand it so much I had to turn it off. However in Windows 7 the UAC with its four diffe… Continue
Windows 7 has achieved this feat of extremely low boot time by using a healthy hardware configuration. Moreover, most of the hardware manufacturing firms are paying more attention on cutting the boot time. Continue
So just a little over 5 days ago; I said that I’d take a in-depth look through a couple trial runs of Microsoft Security Essentials; focusing on areas of: Virus Detection, Functionality, Performance and Features; from both the views of an end user and a power user. So strap yourselves in, this post’s going to be a long one.

That's desperate thinking right there - they are advertising that they didn't copy Windows 7 off of Mac OS X?
(That Application is Spotify, by the way.) Continue

The killer feature of every Mac which can’t be underestimated (and you don’t realise how important it is until you own a Mac) is OS X’s 100% reliable, near-instant suspend and resume.
Windows PCs have just never had this. Reliability on Windows is hit and miss, and it’s nowhere near instant. As a result most people are in the habit of shutting down their PC totally — or worse, leaving them on 24/7, chewing up power.
The difference between Mac and Windows in this respect is the di… Continue
UAC was introduced in Windows Vista, and has proven to be a bit of an annoyance to some users. Prompting many to turn the feature off, which is very easy to do. Though I personally don’t recommend it. The best way would be to click on the Start orb, click the User picture, this takes you to user accounts, click turn UAC on or off, you will be prompted if UAC is turned on. Click continue, and deselect, click ok, and you will be asked to restart now, or later.
When you turn off… Continue

Which game system do you prefer to game on, Xbox 360, the Wii, or the PlayStation 3? Maybe you’re not a console person, maybe you’re a PC gamer?
I have many games laying around here, and most of which are for my outdated PS2. I do have a few games for the 360, I have none for PS3 because I do not own one, nor do I own a Wii. I do have a few games for my PC though, and I do play them regularly. It’s usually a choice between Halo 2 and GTA IV, and Halo usually wins out. I do love my games and enj… Continue

Now that nearly every PC/Mac user, if not all has bought Microsoft's new operating system - Windows 7 or at least have a new system with Windows 7 pre-installed. This immediately brought everyone's attention to upgrade from Windows Vista, which wasn't too bright.
I have to admit, Windows Vista wasn't so 'annoying' for me, infact I thought it was a pretty decent OS. Although it had some minor things that I wouldn't really complain about it still managed to accomplish everything I thrown at it.… Continue

Today, October 22, 2009, Windows 7 has been released. Many are very excited for the much anticipated launch. But with this release brings about some decisions... Which edition is best for you.
With Windows 7, three separate editions are offered; Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional, and Ultimate. Microsoft thankfully decided to tip off Home Basic, well because simply, it just made the whole matter more confus… Continue

Alright folks, here I am finnaly having the time to write this, after hours spent to reinstall Windows XP, due to the lack of capability of Windows 7 to run as an OS should that meaning without countless bugs and stuffs, for me I think I had enough of both Vista and Windows 7, and posibbly future Windows versions. As long as XP will be compatible with new software, I'll still use it. I will only move to Vista again only if XP will not be supported.
Also there is something I must tell to especiall… Continue

What do you use to record your favorite TV shows? TiVo, Comcast DVR, Windows Media Center?
This is a cool time to be in, I remember when I was a kid and had to record my favorite shows to VHS and would have to hope there was a enough tape. However these tapes would degrade over time, and when DVD’s came out there still was no real way to record and digitize unless you wanted to spend a lot of money.
Now we have things like TiVo, Windows Media Center, Comcast DVR, and etc. I… Continue

Recently I went to Redmond to go shopping at a mall near there. On my way to the mall I stopped by Microsoft and a friend brought me to the company store. I got a new subscription to Xbox Live and I get a free gift. The new Microsoft store is really big and it has all kinds of cool gadgets and toys that can keep any technology junkie happy. But to warn all of you if you want to go there to by Hardware or Software don't go. All the software like Vista and Office and hardware like Xbox 360's and Z… Continue

Earlier last month Microsoft announced a new search engine. They advertise their search engine as a decision engine because instead of of a web search giving you the most popular search results it gives you decisions of how you want to search. You can search local or worldwide. You can filters to refine your search to what you want instead of the most popular result. I have high hopes for Bing, Since their deal with Yahoo! Their stocks have sky rocketed and they are slowly becoming #2 and even #… Continue
I will come back to youtube! I hope that some of you are happy about this and I hope that you are glad. I would like to mention though what I am going to do with it. I am going to only be posting video blogs there and I want to clarify that. I will be able to do that instant upload thing because I think think is great for video blogs. I will keep my real content here. I have not been able to make that account and i don't have the time to film a vid to let you know. But this is proof that I will… Continue
