I've been using
The Sixty One for a about a month now. I've created a listening account and a few for my music projects/bands. As a user I discovered 100's of good songs by artist I never heard of. Thesixtyone gives incentives to users to listen to new music by giving quests to earn points and hearts.
On thesixtyone, artists sell their music directly to their fans. artists on thesixtyone make at least $7 per album and are

"That you are on Twitter is not cool enough. That you're doing something with Twitter might be cooler." ~Chris Brogan at Gnomedex
I watched Chris Brogan's presentation at Gnomedex a couple of times. I highly recommend checking it out when Chris gets it uploaded.
Brogan made some interesting points regarding networking vs marketing, which he describes as being a Trust Agent. He suggests becoming part of the group you're trying to marketing to and then

Do you think the dog knows what a Snuggie is? Do you think the dog cares? Evidently, there is a marketing firm that thinks that dog owners care enough to spend ten dollars for a Dog Snuggie:
"... "
With an estimated 74 million family dogs in the United States, it only made sense to keep those almost 300 million chilly paws warm this season," said Anne Flynn, Director of Marketing for Allstar Products Group."

With more complex algorithms that factor in local, personal and universal search features, search rankings are not always consistent. Today’s results often depend on a user’s location, their search history and their behavior with the search results – sometimes you can see different search results for the same search terms, even on two different computers in the same location.
One question many businesses have when hunting for a search engine optimization (SEO) company is, “Will this company kno…

So this past week I had the task of coming up with some business card designs for the company. Some for the Sales Associates that will be working with us and some for the executives in the company. I got to thinking about just how much of a marketing and branding tool a business card really is. What does your business card say about you? Does it say that you are still sitting in the 90's when it comes to how you want to promote your business? Are you unique or are you still using the same plain…

What is Internet Marketing
Traditional marketing in many ways was all about getting your message pushed onto to potential clients with the hope of converting them into active clients. Internet Marketing on the other hand is focused on getting the potential client to come to you to be presented your message on their own terms. There are several methods of accomplishing a successful Internet marketing campaign. At the moment the key marketing strategies you should focus on are:
• Organic Search…

Hey!
Everybody wonders, how to make money online?
I have come to conclusion, that the only way to make money online is to with AdSense, and ClickBank, the rest is pure crap, and you will never make serious money.
So basically, make a blog and add google adsense, anperhaps some extra links to clickbank, simple as that!
Hope this helped somebody to save his/her time and if interested to make money online, do not waste your time with any other super-puper programs, they just do not work!
Good lu…

One's own way, choice, or preference.
This could be one of the most powerful words in innovation. Why? What would be new in this world if it weren't for someone being dissatisfied. That's what this word is about, isn't it? It's used when something isn't going the way someone wants it to. And whatever follows the word is a solution. "If I had my druthers, I'd just flip a switch on the wall and a light would magically go on."
The word has an interesting history. It began as "I would rather." A c…

The prospect seen from a viewing place. A point of view; attitude. A probable result; expectation.
Last week, a friend of mine lost his job after about 15 years with his company. Some people think it's awkward to contact people when you hear something like this, but I just give people a call. The lack of comfort is usually on our side, not theirs. I'd been feeling pretty depressed about our economy, so could only imagine how he felt. I expected to give my friend a few words of encouragem…

Have you ever seen those videos on You Tube titled “How to advertise your …… ” or ” Advertising Secrets Revealed! ” well when your a beginner you might consider them an opportunity but let me tell you they are scams!
Now I am not saying all of them are scams but many clutter the keywords in which we search, you see a lot of the people who make these videos don’t have a successful website, they don’t get much traffic to their website. By making videos that beginners watch and then feeding them a…

I have been making some web pages. I built 20 or 30 and most aren't doing that well. I love the internet marketing and would love any help or support.
Here are the web sites that are gaining a tiny bit of traction.

http://www.outdoorshower.org

I have also made some new web sites recently.
http://www.solarhome.ws and http://www.healthyfoods.ws
What I don't understand is how people get to the top of Google in like a week. I was #4 for lcd…

So are you always toying with new things to try and boost your traffic with little if any results? I don’t even know why I ask you this question, because I already know the answer for 95% of you. Myself I have tried many, many tactics. Many were dumb ideas in hindsight and saw no return. A few though have in fact succeeded. Which falls right in line with some advice which appears to be universally shared amongst knowledgeable SEO professionals I have met over the years. If you stay persistent an…

Ever since I was young I can always remember those rainy days when mom would let us stay inside and play video games all day. We would pop in Street Fighter, Mario Kart, and Mortal Kombat just to name a few. I always was one character in those games, and one character only.....the only girl ever in the video games. Chun Li, Princess Peach and Kintana became my alter egos, a recent revelation of mine that has made complete sense but also confuses me about the video game industry. Why aren't the v…
