Joe One Big MacWorld Post

Instead of doing one post on each thing that Apple announced at MacWorld (because that would be extremely time consuming on my part), I figured out that it would be easier for me to just do one big post to tell you my thought without doing a summary of the products. iLife ‘09 See this post here. iWork ‘09 Even though I don’t have a Mac (I currently use Word) I want the new iWork suite so… Continue

UncleJohn My Unbiased Thoughts

Macworld VS CES Keynotes. What follows is a unbiased review of both Keynotes. This is NOT about if Mac's, or PC's are better. It is about the presentations given, and only about that. Let us start with the big disappointments of Macworld and get those out of the way. Rumours spread far and wide that the Mac Mini, a long time hard working machine of Chris, and others for dedicated tasks, would finaly be seeing a MUCH needed upgrade. Alas there was not any mention of the poor Mac Mini, other… Continue

pwn247 Apple @ MacWorld '09

I'm sure you all know that Apple has recently made it's showing at MacWorld 2009 in San Fransisco (which is actually still going on). Each MacWorld, Apple delivers a keynote presentation and usually releases new products. This year was no different when they showed everyone the new iLife '09 and iWork '09, both of which look impressive. Apple also showed us it's awesome new 17" MacBook Pro, which features new strong battery technology. Let's go in-depth! iLife '09 Still said to be the #1… Continue

Cozza Dizzle macworld 2009

Macworld 2009 what can i say? Hmmm where do i start? I really dont no it was just so disappointing. I really really hope there is more to come, i mean come on steve sort it out. The conference its self really did suck i mean the best part of it must have been the part about the battery life but even then there are two arguments about having a battery that isn't removable or replaceable. just thought i needed to post a blog on this as i am sure many people will be talking about it for a… Continue

eliehass MacWorld Keynote ‘09

Well, the final MacWorld keynote has come and gone, and there were some interesting announcements, but there were other things that I was looking forward to that were not announced. The new versions of iLife and iWork look nice, especially the face recognition and facebook integration in iPhoto and the online component of iWork (iWork.com) which lets you view your documents from anywhere with internet access and share your documents with other people. The new 17” MBP was cool, especially with it… Continue

eliehass Macworld is approaching!

Well, Macworld is this week and I’m really looking forward to it. I thing the thing the most excited about is snow leopard. Although I think its strange that both Apple and Microsoft have decided to refine their OS’s this time around instead of making major changes. I wonder which will be the bigger improvement, Snow Leopard or Windows 7. I mean, I think Snow Leopard will be the better product, but Windows 7 might be a better improvement being as Vista has way more to improve upon compared to Le… Continue

Cowhelmet Apple not to make an appearance at MacWorld from this point forward

Steve Jobs announced that this will be apples last appearance made at this years MacWorld expo. Does this signal the end of a great trade show or will it continue to be as popular as years past? This is the question that many will wonder. While most vendors stay hopeful and will continue to make an appearance at shows to come, it makes you wonder if many will drop out. I think many vendors will feel that the venue may not attract the crowds needed to cover the cost of setting up and booth to p… Continue

Matt S. End of an Era; Macworld Expo's Last Breath of Air

Apple has announced that Steve Jobs will not be giving the annual keynote address at the 2009 Macworld Expo in January. It is rumored that his absence is health-related; however, his absence this year may be a sign that this will be the last trade-show for Apple. Giving the keynote address is Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing, Phil Schiller. The Macworld site quotes Michael Gartenberg, vice… Continue
