Shane Maloney Aion Online: Launch FAIL!

So yesterday I pre-ordered the MMORPG: AION, on my buddy Brian’s recommendation from his beta experience. Though that I couldn't get into beta (sad face) unfortunately. Today I had to do a little painting for my girlfriend’s friend knowing that the server would go live at 3pm EST and I would be painting until 4pm EST. I was sad the whole time I was painting just dying to get on to join my friends. Who I had no doubt would be 5-10 level’s ahead of me by the time I logged in. When my girlfriend dr… Continue

techjase Rumor: Xbox Live Arcade snubbing indie developers?

Arguably the two best Xbox Live Arcade games to ever hit the system are Castle Crashers and Braid, two independant games. If rumors are to be believed, Microsoft has become quick to forget such things, as the platform holder is planning to "dramatically reduce" the amount of indie games to hit the service. The gossip stems from the idea that Microsoft is worried about too much software cluttering up XBLA, and it's being reported that a number of major publishers have put pressure on MS to reduc… Continue

Matt Microsoft Bing.

Well, there has been A LOT of hype about Microsoft's new search engine - Bing. People didn't know what to expect, because in the past all other Microsoft search engines were crap. But you shouldn't judge someone on what they have done in the past. If you figure out the algorithm to making a spaceship go light speed, it doesn't mean that you're going to figure out how to teleport things the next day. Anyway, back to Bing. If you haven't already seen it, you'll see it looks a lot more designed tha… Continue

Dan Kane New XBOX LIVE features coming soon!

Well there is going to be a lot of new features coming soon to XBOX LIVE such as Twitter, Facebook, Last FM and of course the best of all Sky TV which should be great. I think that the Facebook feature is a bit useless but the Twitter interface and feature itself is a brilliant idea. Last FM I'm not a big fan of so I wont be using hat, but the biggest new feature of all is Sky TV letting you watch sport, movies and etc. I think most of the features are coming in Autumn (Fall) so its not that l… Continue

Agent Popescu The webcam streaming era(Justin.tv/Blogtv.com/Ustrem.tv/Any other simmilar service)

Well I never actually wanted to start a post about this, but here it goes. Basically what I want to talk today about is the webcame live streaming sites. Well some of us already use them to live stream whetever is for fun or business purposes, the other us know of them but don't use any, and the rest of us either don't know about them or don't care. These types of sites tend to make streaming easier for at least the medium user if not the average one, by adding certain features, like chat rooms,… Continue

medinamatt What Do We Really Live For?

From the title of this blog, your probably thinking, “OH MY F***ING GOD!!! THIS GUYS ABOUT TO THROW SOME DEEP SH*T ABOUT RELIGION OR BE ALL DEPRESSING!”. Well, this is going to be sort of a hybrid. To be honest, March-April was very depressing for me. My girlfriend broke up with me in the middle of March, I sprained my ankle, toe, I was struggling in some classes I expected to do well in, and I was sick most of the time. To be honest again, I was a real grumpy garrison(got that one from my mom).… Continue

Joel MSN QnA

The MSN QnA has decided they will be shutting it down on May 21, 2009. Many people have had fun, met new people, got useful information, and much more over the last couple years it has been around. It is still an awesome site. I invite people to take 2 actions. The first is signing the petition at http://www.petitiononline.com/QnA/petition.html. The second thing is if they do not listen to the petitio… Continue

DJVistaMan The Stone Age - from my blog @ http://thetechzonelive.co.cc

I just don’t understand why our parents can’t move forward. What I mean by this, is that they never want to upgrade the specs on their computers and they just can’t keep up with new software. Many times, the “Geek of the house” usually has the most powerful computer(s) and they get angry because their parents tell them “My computer is too slow!” Steps to end the anger: Add RAM. Many times, computers tend to run slower if they don’t have enough RAM. This is because the RAM is used to store info… Continue
