I've somehow decided that I want to get ArchLinux on my laptop. XD I Dont know how I come up with this stuff, but I've never had a text based installer before. Doesn't look too difficult. reistry fix -problems

one of the biggest factors for to swap to a mac (apart from costs) is the on going crusade against my laptop/pc slowing down over time. I never understood why this used to happen and was always reluctant to try new programs or new software for fear of slowing things down even if i have completely removed something there is always a nagging suspicion that something has been left behind. My laptop runs hot. So hot in fact, it earned the nickname "Hotplate". So overheating has always been a problem when running cpu-intensive or graphics-intensive tasks. So what's the solution? Mouse Help

I have gotten a USB logitech mouse for xmas. Well about a week ago things started getting funny. The mouse was skipping in and out of moving. Then it went dead, like dead. So as usual with any mouse i pulled out my AA batteries like any normal guy would. I put them in and turned it on and plugged the wireless reciever in. My HP hard drive died last Tuesday confirming that my laptop can fall from a couch and bed and small table multiple times while running but can't survive a bus ride while powered off inside of its bag which was inside of another bag! Want an iMac but have no money for one.

With my 18th Birthday just 2 weeks away, I was really excited as I think I could have gotten an iMac or Macbook. But I was very shocked when my mum said no, this of course made me feel very sad.
