"5 Ways to be Successful at Work" If you heed these five hints, you'll not only contribute to your job security; you'll also win your boss's admiration and appreciation -- as well as a little loyalty. 1. Says Levit, "Don't approach your boss with a sense of entitlement, as though he is personally responsible for furthering your career. Instead, focus on learning what you can do to make his life easier,… Continue

Sm3 On the Week.

I know no one wants to hear about my week, but Im going to post it anyway. .why Im posting my week below the why section today... because I want to tell you why before you decide not to waist your time on my post. The main reason Im posting this, is because I want to get some responses about how your guys-es weeks go. I don't have many friends yet, so alot of responses is unlikely, a few would still be nice. John C Want an iMac but have no money for one.

With my 18th Birthday just 2 weeks away, I was really excited as I think I could have gotten an iMac or Macbook. But I was very shocked when my mum said no, this of course made me feel very sad. I was wondering if it's possible to get a Mac Mini within the £100 - £200 range, as I think the mac mini would be great as a starting point. Anyone have any ideas? Continue

Will Smidlein What is Apple planning?

Changing all of the unibodys to Pros, no new iPod Touch, no cheap desktop or portable system, a new server farm. Everyone knows something in going on at Cupertino but not very many know what it is. It could be a netbook, maybe a tablet, or maybe even a new system for doing things all together. With Chrome OS announced today Microsoft has all if it's attention on Google, making it the perfect time for Apple to release something. Even though everyone who's ever used a Mac wants Apple to release so… Continue

JavaWizKid Beta Testing!

Many of you may be interested by the term "Beta Testing", I know I am. It springs lots of things to mind such as: Windows 7, Safari 4, Firefox 3.1, games etc... What I found was that I had nowhere to discuss all these different pieces of software in one place. If I wanted to discuss Windows 7, I had to register at the Microsoft website to participate. For discussing Firefox, I had to sign up there. This was a real hassle and I decided to build my very own beta testing community/blog! Its URL is… Continue

Averatec (in chat) Early 2008 Mac Pro vs. 2009 Mac Pro

As you may have read in my previous blog posts, I own an early 2008 Mac Pro (same model as Chris Pirillo himself). I had a look at this years Mac Pro, released yesterday and decided that I was actually happy that I had an early 2008 model, heres why; 1. Mini DVI... Personally, if i need to drop an extra $20+tax on an adapter in order to run dual monitors I'm not happy... Mini DVI is purely a moneymaking scheme and forces you into buying Apple's ridiculous displays 2. No firewire 400- HELLO APP… Continue
