I just got home from the Apple Store Clone (aka the Microsoft Store) and was able to experience it. I was not surprised on how much it copied Apple. I actually got a PC Specialist to talk me out of the Zune. He uses the iPod!

Internet
A global network connecting millions of computers. The World Wide Web is part of the Internet and electronic mail (or email) is transmitted over the Internet.
How safe is your data and your computer system while you are making use of the Internet? The Internet is a great tool for communication, a huge information resource, and a way for organisations to deliver services and do business. However the Internet also poses security threats to computer systems and data. Unfortu… Continue
An old gypsy curse I once heard said "May you always get what you want". It's a clever curse because if you always get what you want, you'll never value what you have.
Also, apparently 'Y' is a vowel and a consonant. I'll ask Chris about this later. He's an English major, or so I'm led to believe.
Today's post concerns an annual tradition. Each year, families all over the world get together and pass the time in a besotted state by playing a board game. I've played many in my time. Monop… Continue

For a while now Follow Friday has been a good way for people to recommend great people to follow on twitter. As a geek I use twitter for sharing information, and interest. One of the people I follow made the statement to me that "more followers isn't better, better followers is more". What I mean by better followers is that none of this spam crap, not someone who spews out senseless nonsense. I’ve used Follow Friday since June I believe, but with the introduction of Twitter Lists Follow F… Continue
Hey guys just wanted to give you a heads up on the project that a partner and I are working on for the state of Connecticut. We were selected along with a handful of other students from around the state to create presentations on internet safety and internet crimes. These presentations will then be edited and critiqued by officials and people that work in this field for a living. We will then present in groups of two; to our own school and about five other schools around the state. I am really l… Continue
I like many other Geeks, am on multiple social sites. Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, and FriendFeed are just a few examples of this. I previously that I use Ping.fm to ping my status to all my social sites, however I recently changed this when TweetDeck v0.30.5 was released. It added support for Myspace and it’s moods. To be honest I prefer this do to the fact that now I don’t have to keep logging into Ping.fm’s website.
I guess you could say that I find this version of TweetDec… Continue

Hi, I am Mystic Virgo..Call me Mystic,
I several months ago, I ran into the situation where I had to network my new rental. Leasing said I was not to drill holes or anything like that, so cabling for Ethernet was flat out of the question.
I managed to convinced my wife that we needed a wireless router and talked her into an old Linksys WRT54G. The timing was right becasue Cisco was pulling the ole black and blue products off the shelf in favor of the new units designed to prevent modifications… Continue
