Rook Ie I found a tiny naked whore on my wall today! -- (aFits)

I'm not sure if anyone else's family are as crazy about the cloud game as mine is. My mom and aunt continually make me play, even to this day.And I'm twenty-two years old! And it isn't just clouds. As a kid, mom would encourage me to try to find patterns and pictures in the weird abstract wallpapers we had. If we have a bonfire, a popular pass time is to find pictures (normalcy animal faces) in the hot coals. When I was about seven, we had this horrifically ugly (but we thought it was cool at th… Continue

Rook Ie No one can say that Disney doesn't understand racial relations... Or everyoune could. (aFitS blog)

I'd like to start off the entry with a happy holiday greeting! It is officially the time of year when I somewhat begrudgingly accept the holiday spirit into my home, and only try once or twice to smother it in it's sleep with a pillow. I always talk myself out of it, though. I just love the holidays. I digress, onto the blog.

One thing I've always liked about Disney princess movies is the fact that they've been able to actually branch out and break their generic fairy tale plot formula.… Continue

David King European Windows 7 buyers getting browser choice after all?

It looks as though Microsoft may have conceded defeat in its fight against the European Union’s antitrust charges relating to the bundling of the Internet Explorer Web browser in Windows 7. The EU wasn’t happy with the plans to exclude a browser from the OS completely, so it seems European Windows buyers will now be given a choice via a ballot screen. The EU has been on Microsoft’s case for a good while now, insisting the company is being anti-competitive in its practices when it comes to bundl… Continue

Michael What Is A Browser?

A few days a go I had to help a friend with a problem with a problem. I got to her computer using logmein and what was the first thing I saw IE it didn't surprise me really cause I know her and her family aren’t geeks so they are happy with that. But when I suggest they use Firefox instead of IE I was then asked what is IE, so I told her that it was the browser that she is using now. Then I herd what is a browser? Right then I wanted to be like are you kidding, but then thought to my self and re… Continue

Justin To Opera: Enough is Enough

Alright, as of today, I've officially had it with this browser war bullshit. I used to be on the side of Mozilla and all them, but ever since Microsoft made IE completely detachable from their upcoming Windows 7, I've really had no issue anymore. If I want, I can uninstall IE completely (but you'd be a retard to do that because so many applications have dependencies on it), and install my own browser. B… Continue

Ron Knights Internet Explorer: Stop trying to bail out the boat, and sink it!

Here we go again. Yet another IE exploit was detected. Microsoft rushes in with urgent news and urgent updates. I'm always reminded of a wooden boat my Dad kept around for years. One day we took the boat out on Lake Erie. My brothers and I had to keep bailing out the boat. My Dad operated the motor, and said "What a wonderful day for a boat ride." Just how long will they keep trying to bail the water out of a sinking ship?! It's time to let the boat sink. Don't even bother to do a memorial s… Continue

The Sleepy Geek Windows 7 First Impressions

To be completely honest I haven't been following the release dates for Windows 7 because I haven't been very excited about a new Windows version. With the last release (Vista) being delayed so many times and rumours about this date and that date, I gave up on Microsoft's schedule. I downloaded the beta yesterday and installed it on a Dell D620 which is one of my test machines at work. There is no question that Microsoft really improved the installation process when Vista came out and they are u… Continue

Justin Three Web Design Tools that Designers should use

Hello all, again. Have not posted here in a while, so surely I should post SOMETHING, HMM??? Well I couldn't come up with much, just, IDK, some of the tools I use when I design sites. Two of the tools are more important than the third. And, I use many different tools for many different things, just because different projects require different things. Got this post idea thanks to some noob on #Chris IRC chat who was trying to tell me how to sell my websites (lol). He thought he was the pretty a… Continue

Mike Copeland Internet Explorer 8

Internet Explorer is in beta 2 form, and so far I like what I see. It's right on par with Google Chrome, and that's a good thing. Internet Explorer (IE) has had a nice feature on it that lets me save my passwords on sites I use; Google Chrome does this to, but on my Gaia account Chrome doesn't save the password. And yes I have a Gaia account. Webpages load easier, and searching has never been better. More compatibility than Google Chrome has, and is much more stable than it's future predecessor… Continue

Raul Ortiz Quiroga What is the "thing" in your browser that stops you to stay using Google Chrome?

I'm a Mozilla Firefox Addons adicted geek, and I love my browser because of all the options that it has, it's absolutely customizable, you can make it work the exact way that you want it to, but recently I was using Google Chrome on my laptop and I could see personally the amazing speed of that browser. I thing most of the people like speed right? Like myself, but there are somethings that I don't want to loose surfing the web like my favorite addone Fire Gestures that allows me to surf in the w… Continue

Mike Copeland Yet Another Blog Poster

Yes this is extremely interesting, to have yet another place to post my blogs to. I have a bunch of them which I will be adding here from my personal blog at blogger. Most of them are dealing with Windows Vista, however, the latest ones are more to do with IE 8 and Google Chrome. I personally have said and in my blogs that I have posted that Firefox did not do it for me, and that I did not like it's interface. Well I decided to give Firefox 3 a shot, and well I'm impressed. It works, and look fa… Continue
