Mike Copeland Pocket God

Pocket God is actually an ok game to play when you’re bored. Basically you’re a God like being to Pygmies. You can strike them with lighting, throw them in the Volcano, or feed them to a shark. There are many ways to handle these little guys, and you know what they are some little troopers. No matter how bad it is they always come back for more. The application is updated on a regular basis, each update brings something new, and a hint is in the Episode title. The most recent… Continue

Mike Copeland The Plateau

This game starts out easy but gradually gets harder as the levels progress. I play this game to work my mind, it really gets you to thinking. Basically the game is trying to untangle the lines. No line should cross another, a good line goes green while a bad one goes red, and the orange lines are neutral. The game can get addicting, not as addicting as Sudoku but close, reminds of when I used to spend time trying to solve the Rubik’s Cube. The game is $4.99 in the iTunes App… Continue

Hey there, i know theres quite a few blog posts out there about whether to get mac or pc, ive had pc's all my life and only ever used macs at school. but at schools they limit what you can do on it so i never got to experience the true mac experience. My DV9700 laptop recently went through the big NVIDIA GPU chip problem widely spread but not properly compensated for, so far ive had to pay $600 (NZD) to get the mainboard replaced and its failed twice since then, luckily replaced for free each t… Continue

Starry Is unvoluntarily ill..

I guess no one likes or wants to be ill, but sometimes I think it is nice spending some time home, relaxing and maybe have people around who can take care of you. In my case I was really annoyed when I got symptoms of a cold, I thought it was just something that would last for a couple of days, in the end it was unbearable I had to go to the toilet every 15 min. from work cause my nose kept running and in the same time I felt quite ill. I was so stubborn because I did not want to make a stupid c… Continue

Tedescucci Approaching the finish line (arcade stuff again)

Well, it's been few months of hunting, scraping, wheeling, and dealing. So far, the list stands at... Tron, Robotron, Empire City, Galaga, Pole Position, Crazy Kong cabaret, Ms Pac-Man cabaret (that means mini!), and Galaxian. I promised myself that when I get my Satan's Hollow I'm done until I find an Environmental Discs of Tron... so I'm cramming everything I can get in before I find that Satan's Hollow machine. So, total count... 8 so far. Machines that are working?... 4. lol But it's all ab… Continue

Alec A great original game for us casual gamers

Not everyone likes to shoot up people in some gory deathmatch game. And besides, games in that genre tend to get old fast. How many variations on shooting someone can there be?

Minecraft (above) is an awesome game! Don't even bother… Continue

Dafz Thomas Crysis 2 to be multi-platform.

Crytek, the creators of Crysis built upon the amazing Cryengine, is going multi-platform in the next release of Crysis, which is "Crysis 2." Crysis 2 will run on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC, but many people are speculating on the console side of things. There are many talks among the community that this will not work. "The current consoles today are not capable of running such a game." That may be, but what about the next-generation consoles from Sony and Microsoft? (or even Nintendo (mabie n… Continue

cody Pocket God iPhone App

I just bought a game, I dont usually buy iPhone games because for some reason they get boring really fast. But anyway I bought Pocket God and I got to say its unusually addictive. Basically in the game you are god off a small island and you decide what happens, its fun. The graphics are cartoony but decent quality and I didnt notice any frame drop or bugs. It didnt crash either which is a plus. I recommend checking this game out. Follow me on Twitter:… Continue

Jonathan Gorard (programmer159) Programming: Do You Use Pascal In Any form?

Some people (like me) may still use the old programming language Pascal. However, some scripting languages like Scar are based on Pascal, and some of you may have used that. So, do you use Pascal in any shape or form, do you know of any good Pascal emulators, interpreters or compilers? If you have used Pascal in any form before, what exactly did you think of it? I want to know... Continue

frederik super paper mario

I just bought super paper mario. I like to buy games some time after their release because they're cheeper , and that's what I did with this game. I could buy it for 44 EURO, that is $ 64.3, while just after it's release it costed 60 Euros which is $68.43. So I started playing the game. One thing that I found really annoying is the amount of text. It took me lots of time to read trough it all. The problem is that I really want to know the story of a game, but is it so hard to hire some good voi… Continue

frederik atmosphir

There's something I've noticed in the last couple of years. More and more games come with level editors, character editors,... and I think that is great because creativity is realli important. For me, creativity is the most important thing in the world, I like to be creative. I'me not good at drawing, don't ask me to make a sculpture, but give me a program like garageband, and I'll be amused for hours. But I also really like to make games. One day, I was searching for a good game making program… Continue

frederik gaming.

I like gaming, just like lots of people. Although I'me visually impaired, I can play games. Of course not all games. Very dark games such as a lot of world war games, or the lord of the rings games are hard for me to play. But bright colored games like far cry are playable for me. What I like about gaming, is the interactivity with a world. I mean, you do something, and something else happens. But unlike in the real world, you can always reset things. Sometimes think, if God exists, and he made… Continue
