Mike Copeland My mind is out to wonder

Lately I have been out of it. Right now I’m planning my move from South Florida to the Midwest, and it’s just deciding how I’m going to pack everything. There so much other stuff I’m going to have to look into as well. Everything comes with a price, but I’m going to Texas next month to check out everything. I’m from Texas, and I came to Florida when I was 2. I have family there, my brothers and sister. That should help me in the transition. I don’t plan on staying in Texas for long, just 5 year… Continue

DragonHeart 2009 Florida Renaissance Faire, Quiet Waters Park, Deerfield Beach, Florida.

Went to the Florida Renaissance Fair with the wife and had an awesome time. Once we arrived, it took about 20 minutes to finally get parked and start walking towards the front gate. While in the ticket line, the gentleman in front of us offered us two $3 off discount coupons… Continue

eliehass Orlando

My wife and I just got back from our second honeymoon in Orlando. We had a great time, despite the fact that it was a little chilly and it rained. We spent monday through wednesday doing the disney parks, and because of the bad weather there were basically no lines (I guess that’s a fair trade off). Then on wednesday night we went to see the blue man group, who were playing in universal studios. The blue man group tickets also acted as universal park tickets so we spent thursday in universal and… Continue

Florida Lottery: Worst Bet For Gamblers LABELLE, FL. -- According to a tally by the St. Petersburg Times this week. Florida Lottery players have the worst odds of all Florida's legal gambling games, while the state and the gambling room owners have 100% odds of winning. Floridians bet $4.2 billion on lottery games in the last year, but pay-outs only amounted to $2.1 billion, only 50% of the amounts bet. The state of Florida, however had a sure thing, winning $2.1 billion. Slot machines… Continue

Petricia Daemon 20090109 - End of Leave

So it has been a pretty good two weeks (give or take a day or two). While I was home in Jacksonville I had a chance to sit and ruminate on life, build a deck for my mum, and I went and saw Seven Pounds this afternoon. Unfortunately I have to go back to Lemoore this weekend and then to work on Monday *gags dramatically*. Just wanted to post a picture up of the deck, maybe it's not a geek thing, but it is one hell of an accomplishment.… Continue

noah kantor a trip down memory lane - diseny's snow white ride, 4 years old

Oh, disneyworld. The place where my nightmares come from... I was 4 years old, and went to disneyworld (I think that's the one in florida, right?) Unaware that I would nearly be scarred for life. The moment we entered the theme park area, my parents insisted that I ride the ""snow white ride." I do not remember the actual name of the place, but It was a decent proposal for my toddler mind, so we entered, dispite the screaming hear from within it's walls... after getting in a roller-coaster sty… Continue
