Diablo 2 is a rare game: Blizzard doesn't often patch games after they've gone to pasture. What I always wondered was what happened to the 3 heroes from Diablo 1. I know the Warrior eventually becomes Diablo, the Rogue I think becomes Andariel (yep, had to look that up on p135 of the strategy guide) and the mage I'm not too sure about.
