We should be glad that we live in a country that doesn't require content filtering programs.

I read a head line today that the Chinese government is requiring computer makers to add a filtering software to block "unhealthy words and images". I'm making some massive changes to my web site.

I decided to redo my site. I wanted to use either Mambo or Joomla, content manager web applications. I tried to install them manually. I'd done this many times on my home computers, using them as servers. I encountered some of the weirdest problems and errors I'd ever seen.
