Kim Randall Social Media Questions Answered (in my own opinion)

Today I decided to start the day, after reading emails, by asking my fellow Tweeters if they had any questions about Social Media. I received a few, but the one I am going to answer in this post was from one of the most social not to mention one of my oldest [not in age :)] friends on Twitter, Dr. Rus.

Hayden Sutherland Top 5 List: Firefox Add-Ons

Now I don't know about you guys, but I am an Add-On addict. I probably have downloaded dozens upon dozens of add-ons for Firefox and alot of them I don't even use (shame shame)!!! Although I do have a very select few I use pretty much EVERY DAY! So here comes my top five favorite add-ons for Mozilla Firefox. 5. WebMail Notifier Very very simple add-on. It allows you to sign into an email account and it displays a counter of all your unread messages. You have access to Hotmail, Yahoo, Gma… Continue

Kim Randall Blogging Karma

Ugghhh why is no one reading my blogs? Why does no one ever comment on them? Does this sound familiar? If it does perhaps you need to change your blogging karma...

What do I mean by that? Well it's actually rather simple. You want more people to read what you have to say in your blogs, but do you read other blogs?… Continue

YorkshireNerd How to get articles fast.

Some people have the dream of making an article directory or article blog a bit like lockergnome. One of the main ways to get that directory started off is to use the Unique Article Wizard which is a small plugin for blogs. People will submit there articles to UAW and the server will send the article to every blog with the plugin for quick and easy articles. It also creates an account for everyone so your blogging account stays safe. If you go to my site you may be able to see an example @… Continue

James Hill You must be able to write well to succeed in blogging... How do you know if you are?

I spend a lot of my time a day thinking about blogging and the internet, sometimes I spend too much time. One thing I always notice is people that try to get big in the blogging world forget one thing, you must be able to write well. If you watch Chris Pirillo's video "how to blog"on youtube he mentions this a sickening amount of times (jokes, he makes it clear). But there are some questions that raise up in my mind when considering writing well, if you are blogging by yourself how the hell do y… Continue

Johannes S. What the ****: Laws make no sense.

(This is the second post in the series of my "What the ****" posts) 1) There's a new language law passed in Estonia, the Northern European country in which I live in. It requires me to blog in fluent Estonian. Sorry, but that's... well, retarded. First of all (although I live in Estonia and consider me somewhat Estonian, I speak better English than Estonian, even though Estonian is my mother tongue) I don't blog in Estonian. I blog in English. It is the language I speak best. It is the… Continue

Let me give you a little analogy here Apple:Palm;Apple;iPhone Dev Team That may not make a whole lot of sense at first, but to me, it does. Do we really need to play this… Continue

EEngineer Informative Blogging (Part 4): Editing your Reputation

Nobody wants to look like an idiot. Unfortunately, all of us will have our reputation hurt by something at some point (very specific isn’t it?). There is good news though, there are steps you can take to prevent some personal scenarios of public idiocy. Here are my tips for sustaining a positive image while writing, and commenting on blogs: 1) Proof Read Out Loud: My blog posts are intended to be conversational. why636 Apple table rumor

It has been rumored that a new apple product is coming by as early as October. With prices expected to be high as normal for a Apple product reports are saying that its around $800.The Taiwanese site InfoTimes reports (in Chinese) that the device will have a 9.7-inch touchscreen, making it a tad smaller than most netbooks but adding touchcreen features and iPod mystique. While this is still the stuff of rumor, it seems to be circling in on something. The price makes sense, as does what little is… Continue

James Hill Writers Block? Here is my solution!

Get away from the computer... Some great man suggested to me and guess what? It works! I have spent the day away from the computer and doing some retail therapy... I bought Red boxing gloves! But yeah it does work you just have to motivate yourself. Easier said then done, the first couple of hours were painful, I must say. I wanted to blog so bad but what got me to forget about it was the simple fact that, I had nothing to write about and I don't want to produce stale posts. So yeah just a qui… Continue
