With word of Circuit City closing all of it's stores, liquidating all of the merchandise, I decided to drop by my local shop to check out the big bargains. Think again. HDTVs were no cheaper than they were before, CDs/DVDs were only discounted a buck or so, computer monitors were still way overpriced ($249 for a no-name brand 20-inch !?), and notebook computers were the same way. Dear President Elect, Are you aware that this country is in the middle of a depression ??? Are you aware that riding the train to the Capitol is extremely expensive not to mention that it's also very unsafe. Just because President Lincoln did it, doesn't mean you have to.
