Recently, Microsoft released their megabundle of security patches to everything from the (Already horribly insecure) Internet Explorer to the Silverlight plugin. Microsoft classes these updates as "Critical Updates", which if anything is making the general public more worried about operating Windows computers across the internet in fear of getting hacked or infected with viruses/spyware/adware.

Recently a number of Google Apps. came out of their beta stage and entered world of 1.0. An interesting move, not in and of itself, but rather because it brought up the issue of what Beta really means these days. It used to be that "beta" really meant that a software was in the testing phase, not ready for prime production. Often times, these tests were private, open to only a few people.
With Google Apps, however, the playing field changed. These beta apps were open to just about everyone. Mor… Continue

Adobe Flash player for a PC... the worse idea ever. Okay I have just got my computer up and running... Finally, but I have to install all my programs like Thunder Bird and all my must-have programs for mye to operate as per normal. But I will get there.
Now... On to my PC problems, as suspected it was the Hard drive, right now I am running on a 40GB WD IDE hard drive and using my previous 500GB HDD for storage. But as a precaution I am backing up all my stuff from now on. See my post on Backing… Continue
Adobe Flash Player - perhaps one of the pieces of software I hate the most. Adobe Flash player is bloated, CPU-intensive, loads slowly in different occasions, and is the only thing that happens to slow down my CPU, and makes my CPU fan go crazy.
Flash is even worse on Linux - it even causes any browser to crash out of nowhere. Hell, Flash has gotten really bad to the point where Chrome's sandbox feature won't truly work as advertised.
I am really sick of this plugin - just a shame it happens t… Continue
Well what can I say. I am in love with Windows 7. Since the day I installed it I knew it would be way better than Vista, and now I proff it. It runs avy software fine, even all the adobe.
I wanted to get rid of Vista but I din’t want to go back to XP, and Windows 7 came to me. When Windows 7 RT came out I was double booting it with Vista but now I am running just Windows 7. Before upgrading Vista I had to do some homework, like see if adobe Photoshop so as After Effects were compatible with Win… Continue

Now that they have been busted and "dealt" with what will happen next? I know they have two chances to appeal but is it worth it? Who knows.
I think that The Pirate Bay will be a thing of the past after all this dies down. The Pirate Bay has already cost Sony, Adobe, Apple and every other software/Multimedia company upwards 3.2 million dollars. Which by the way will be paid back if the court doesn't changed their mind along with a year of jail time for each of the four founding fathers.
So wha… Continue
If you use Twitter then then you know how hard it is to keep track of what everyone is saying. You might also know about desktop clients for twitter. I have used a couple over the past while and would like to shed some light on each one (keep in mind I’m on a mac).
I started using them when an unnamed you personality said that they use Twhirl. At first I thought it was very good and it is but not as good as I first thought. I saw limited functionality, also I did not like the fact that when I c… Continue

I recently downloaded an app from twitter.com called TweetDeck, it's an adobe air app, that's why it's quick, TweetDeck is a twitter client that allows you to post, send, tweet, and retweet easly! You may notice on start up that it's a beta release, it does not seem like a beta though? As you may have seen, all of the people you are following are on the left hand hand side, and the one next to that is your r
I'm sickened.
On January 16th (5 days before the inauguration) Microsoft and the Presidential Inauguration Committee announced that they will be using Microsoft Silverlight technology to stream the inauguration.
Why not use Adobe Flash technology which has upwards of 95% market penetration? Even after the Olympics were streamed using Silverlight, it's penetration was only 30%.
Congress just created channels for the House and Senate on YouTube, which uses Flash technology, so why not make it t… Continue
Hello all, again. Have not posted here in a while, so surely I should post SOMETHING, HMM???
Well I couldn't come up with much, just, IDK, some of the tools I use when I design sites. Two of the tools are more important than the third. And, I use many different tools for many different things, just because different projects require different things.
Got this post idea thanks to some noob on #Chris IRC chat who was trying to tell me how to sell my websites (lol). He thought he was the pretty a… Continue
If you have ever heard of the thing called the Tenori On from Yamaha, then you will know a little bit about how to use this application I am talking about. There is an Adobe Air program called Weepr acts almost like a Tenori On. It is a window with all the buttons on it and it has 5 layers you can set buttons on. If you hit the play button at the bottom, you can hear a beat that you just put in. It is… Continue

Every geek, in his or her lifetime, will want to create a flash app, widget, or animation. Well that time for me was about 5 years ago.
Back then Flash was owned by Macromedia. They were bought out by Adobe in 2005.
Well When that happened Flash became part of the "CS" bundle. Along with Photoshop and other Adobe Products.
Anyway a few years ago I started to get very interested in designing flash animations and apps. So I took a bunch of online tutorials and taught myself a bunch of cool thing… Continue
So I got Adobe CS4 Master Collection only to find out that my computer isn't good enough. Thus another reason that I need to hurry up and get a new computer. Like soon.
