I know I act confused, I'm perfect just like you.
Do what you want, but there's no one in this world who would die for you.
There's only me: Love me or leave me.
You won't ever find anyone around as good as me.
There's only one choice you don't wanna grow old all alone.

People can pre-order copies of Microsoft’s new operating system, Windows 7 from tomorrow from selected retailers.
However the £50 price tag means that the software is bound to be snapped up quickly by bargain hunters as this will be a limited stock and the RRP will be £79.99 when the software is launched in the autumn.
In the past Microsoft has offered low-cost ‘Upgrade’ editions of Windows users who already own a previous version, but Microsoft says that “technical issues” related to its remo… Continue

Now here's a product which I think is quite innovative: How about a desktop pc that is entirely built into the pc's flatscreen monitor?
Yes, it had to happen at some point in time right? Viewsonic has introduced what in my opinion will probably become the future of the traditional desktop pc as we know it today.
The Viewsonic VPC100 All-in-One PC is essentially a desktop pc with all of it's essential parts - the processor, hard drive and all the usb ports designed to fit into what looks like a… Continue

Q) I wish to dispose of an old computer and I understand that the best way of protecting the personal information on the hard disk (my bank details and so on) is to remove the hard disk and break it up with a hammer, and then the other computer parts can be used by a third party. Can you advise how to go about this process?
A) The rather odd advice to smash your hard disk if you’re getting rid of a computer was recently propagated by a national magazine (not one related to Computeractive, we ha… Continue
Today Nokia officially unveiled the Nokia 3720 classic - a rugged handset, designed to survive in enviroments where others won't. Coming with IP-54 certification and entry-level feature set, the Nokia 3720 classic will be a direct rival to the Samsung B2100 Xplorer.
Nokia 3720 classic is the next member of the almost forgotten line of “rugged” devices by the Finnish manufacturer dating back to Nokia 5140. Its IP-54 certification indicates complete dust and splash resistance, while Nokia also cla… Continue

The iPhone 3GS isn’t the biggest or grandest of updates, but for us, it does enough to maintain Apple’s number one spot. We assume Apple has taken an “if it’s not broke, don’t fix it” approach.
Gone, however, are the days when Apple’s mobile was a class apart from its rivals. All of the smartphones here give it a run for its money, beating the iPhone in some key areas, notably the camera, and running it close in others, including the touchscreen – until recently, the iPhone’s was, well, untouch… Continue

Microsoft on Thursday confirmed it has known about a bug behind widespread Internet Explorer (IE) attacks for more than a year, but defended its security process against critics.
According to Mike Reavey, director of Microsoft's Security Response Center (MSRC), the company first got word of a critical flaw in an ActiveX control in early spring 2008. The bug can be exploited through IE6 and IE7 on Windows XP. Two researchers, Ryan Smith and Alex Wheeler, reported the bug to Microsoft when they w… Continue

Upcoming Chrome OS is latest weapon in Google's ongoing 'guerilla war' with Microsoft.
