How can we stop the media and stop people from stealing Christmas and turning it into, "just another holiday"?
I'll leave this as an open discussion so that everyone can share their thoughts and ideas.

Many people have claimed that Windows 7 lots better then what Vista or XP was. Well for me, that's certainly not the case. Ever since using Windows 7, I have encountered numerous problems.
One of the main ones is happening on iTunes. When adding music/podcasts/video I get an error message. The message says this: "The iTunes Library file cannot be saved. You do not have enough access privileges for this operation." That's it. I have researched for days on what the solution could be. So far, noth…

The above video is amazing.
I haven't posted in a while because...
1. I am lazy.

3. I am a boring person with very little to talk about.
Anyways, I am still wishing to receive help for my search bar which phailzorz.
It is a search bar that takes input and puts it to a js value so it can redirect someone to predefined sites according to the keywords that they inputed. (Instead of redirecting, its r…

Recent developments in the modern world have changed the way people are getting their content, mostly for free. This pirating has been going on too long, and it has catastrophic effects, but that is not what is going to be talked about, the question is: What makes pirating ethical?
The three basics of why people pirate
-People want expensive media for free
-People cannot get the product
-People want reputation
Reason Number 1: What makes reason number one ethical? If that media is, unavailable…

Interesting read. While many would immediately discount his statements since he works with Fox News, much of what he says makes sense.
Dr. Krauthammer is on Fox News. He is an M.D. and a lawyer and is paralyzed from the neck down. A friend went to hear Charles Krauthammer. He listened with 25 others in a closed room. What he says here, is NOT 2nd-hand but 1st. The ramifications are staggering for us, our children and their children.
Last Monday was a profound e…

... I start to mull over and ponder over stuff that is overpriced, but at the moment I feel I'd like to have and play around with for a bit.
I have a pretty new PC here, does all I want, but I start to look around..... thinking, faster this.... faster that... Wondering if I can be bothered with maybe going 64 bit Windows 7, then think why bother as 32bit does me fine enough... and so it goes on!

The choice that I have decided to type about is about a personal, local, national or international concern. Health Care is the backbone, to say for the USA. It influences people on what they can and cannot do, because they would have to go to their insurance companies and see if what they are planning to do would be acceptable and sway away the ones who are overboard. In the country, many families across the states do not have health care readily available to them, only free health clinics and o…

Bryan Walsh’s article “E-Waste Not” from TIME Online, published Thursday, January 08,
2009 explains some of the dangers associated with our current E-Waste System. The Article talks
about all of the E-Waste (Electronic-Waste) that is deposited at landfills in numerous countries. The
United States is currently the large provider of E-Waste, because of the obsolete use of the
technology in just under 3 years. If the top producers of e-waste do not control this danger, then
people in the East Asia…

Peter Burrows, author of Cisco's down-market video-conferencing move, from Business Week, on October 1st, explains how Cisco bought-out of Tandberg, a business which owns Pure Digital, has made video-conferencing cheaper and better cross compatibility. Cisco marketed its TelePresence systems back in 2006, but it was only available for the wealthy business clients at $300,000 per room, due to the high bandwidth, ultra clear graphics, and huge light fixtures positioned around the room. Cisco has r…

While listening to the extremely intellectual podcast known as, 'The Drunk Tank', a strange topic was brought up, a patent on "a method for providing episodic media" not only does this effect podcasting and media online in general, this effects, TV Shows, Movies, Books, Music. Which means, many a good podcaster, author, and director have technically broken the patent, and because of breaking the patent, they ALL will have to pay. Though there is a brighter side, the company who releases 'The Dru…

Did you know Thanksgiving fell on a Thursday last year? Imagine that, two Thursdays in a row. I mean, what are the odds of that happening?
Thanksgiving is a very unique holiday. It’s the only day of the year where people gather together, without needing to bring gifts or money, or even food in some families, and everyone enjoys a nice holiday meal together. It’s the only holiday where people give and give, without expecting anything in return. It’s also the only holiday that practically forces…

In an interview, Russel T. Davies explained that a limit on regenerations, set in1976, was 13 doctors! As of the "soon to come" final special, The End of Time Part 2, we know that the Doctor regenerates for the 11th time. Don't get to worried, whovians. He also said that when it comes to the 13th regeneration, they will probably add on 13 more. Davies will not be writing anymore episodes for Doctor Who. Sad. As David Tennant said on The Graham Norton Show: "He is the Shakespeare of today." Tenna…
