5.5 came out in 1998 or something rediculous like that. I'd HIGHLY recommend using something much newer, CS3 at the very least. Just get the 30 day trial directly from Adobe themselves.

5.5 is extremely old. Why don't you just upgrade to CS2, hell, even CS3? Since you're using an illegal copy anyway, it's not like you could get in and more trouble.

5.5 is the only photoshop i've ever used :/ you'd be surprised how functional it is.
