Try renaming the files' extension (make a copy of it first!) to mp4 (instead of mov) and see it that will do it.

Thanks for your reply. That was an interesting thread but to be honest, I don't want to pay for QuickTime Pro and actually there should and must be another solution.
Isn't there another - free - program for converting .mov files to .mp4…

Basically, it involves using QuickTime Pro to export the sound track of your .mov file to MPEG 4, while leaving the video untouched. Hope this helps.
