Looks like you've got quite a page started; lots of friends & groups.
Looks like you might be a little worried about an oncoming empty nest syndrome. So it's good you're so involved in such diverse online and real life interest. Going to places where people who share your own interests gather always boosts the fun factor in life.
I've been going through the empty nest thing the last 3 years or so, and gotten involved with people who put on independent films at the local university, and other people who put on folk and other traditional music concerts & dances; Contra dancing, Ceili dancing, international folk dancing. Lately I've even started to learn ballroom dancing. My favs are waltz & Argentine tango.
Also, being a Holy geek brings me in contact with lots of people. This month I'll lead a discussion on a DVD by John Gottman called "Making Marriage Work." Next month I'll lead one on a book by Pema Chodron called "Starting Where You Are." It's about meditation and other Buddhist practices that help people embrace the angst life throws at them, so they can find meaning & intimacy in life without having to wait till they lose weight, find the ideal mate to "complete" them, or locate the right mouth wash & deodorant.
So I guess the answer for me was to enjoy myself and then go where the people are who interest me and are interested in me.
I'm also on Facebook
