Sorry Dust when I said I didn't want a mac for gaming it was actually in reply to Benjamin Page.
Hehe £300 (pounds) it wouldn't be an AMAZING machine. I bought an intel quad core 3ghz system with 4gm ram, 500gb HD and PNY nvidia 8600GT 128bit 256mb gfx card. Granted not a blazing fast machine but decent enough. For £280 (no os).
ehrm and what i said, you should look at specs, just for the games you want to run, and of course you can find software for everything, alot of opensource also, and of course alot of sw for graphics, if you can stay without playing the last games,...
I don't intend to buy a mac just for games. If I wanted a machine for games I could get a decent quad core windows pc for under £300 no I use a mac for other things, web design, digital illustration and I just prefer to own a more stable and relia...
COD is out even in mac version, and runs well on 9400m, you should not listen at all fanboys that say "oh mac suck bla bla..mac is just for graphics ..and so.." in fact is a pc as all others you can find programs for everything as on all other os,...
If you're only gonna do light things on the computer, stay with the Mac.
with the new Nvidia 9400m chipsets in the new mac minis, 2ghz core2duo and 4gb ram. Would it pack enough punch to run games like say Bioshock or Crysis with decent (non choppy) frame rates?
