Complications and other things
So I'm doing better. Still having a few complications from the surgery, but I'm doing much better. Not sick or as weak as I was. I was even able to run a mile on Friday so that's good.
Anyway I'm getting a little bored with always blogging about depressing things and how much stuff sucks. So I'm going to try and be more positive from day to day. A Phrase That I Really Hate
I really hate it when people say "like a red-headed stepchild". I hate it because it's offensive! I mean come on, because a child is a step child and has red hair they're worthless? Why does this bother me so much? Well because I grew up as a red headed step child. Whenever someone uses that phrase it reminds me of all the happy times I had as a child being locked in the closet by my stepmother or other abuse she inflicted on me which I won't go into.

Re: Crowd control from earlier post. Yep. Look like a Mexican bandelayor (sp?) so many weapons - so much ammo. Hell - I have to hire three men and a boy to carry it. 20 Gauge shells - at least 40 boxes. .32 cal ammo - at least 20 boxes. And my my bro must have 30 boxes of 410 ammo and 50 boxes of .22 shells. My Uncle was a Y2K freak!! He was set set and ready. You would not believe the amount of s### we found. Really.
WRT the grandparents house. Guess you made out well there. Sell the land to Walgreens. My Uncle situation is similar. The area is one of the most desirable in Atlanta. Developed initialyy in the the 40-50s. Less than 15 min walk to downtown and you would NOT believe you are in the middle of the city. Mature trees. Beautiful area. Anyway - they buy houses that were built in the the 70s. Knock then down and build million $ mansions.

Shannon, thanks for the sweet comment about Savannah. It seems that I will have to get full custody of her. Her mother has just about disappeared out of her life. Can you imagine. She is such a precious child.

Actually - with my pathetic eyesight, I thought your avatar was Monkey on a stick - a dilicacy in the Phillipines. [Speaking of that - have you ever had the rare Japanese delicacy Blookers? Yum!!]
My brother got a .22 semiautomatic and a Mossberg 410. I really wanted the .22 rather than 2 shotguns but what the hell. We also found boxes of .25 cal ammo but never found a weapon. :((
Heh. We also got 4 cars - least mileage = 2 K, most 13 K or so. We looked like an army convoy coming back.
