The video card is fine and I checked the internal cabling. There is a slight sizzling noise that sounds like it's coming from the inverter board though.
this may be a no brainer, but what about the vid card on the comp? Are you able to get signal from another monitor? If so then it sounds like the vid cable in the monitor itself is either lose, or the micro cpu that controls the display has gone out…
I did. I think the problem is internal though.
