yeah but saying i built a mac with make the judges go wow.
refurb ones are not that much cheaper then new ones so i would just buy it new or buy the new part and put it together. but i dont like the idea of buy a refurb computer bc the guy could of just stuff parts in there.
Johannes has a point, you can do that. Im not trying to start a Mac vs. PC war but you can get a cheap barebones kit and put linux on it.
What about buying a refurb. one, then dismantling it, then rebuliding it for school?
If you're not cheating, you're not trying hard enough.
then i wouldnt get the grade for the school project. plus its something ive always wanted to do.

hi guys im looking to build me a mac pro for a school project. i was looking at parts and found that there are a lot more parts for the 08 model then the 09 so i think im going to build the 08. unless im wrong. here are a couple of question i have...
