NiceCast

I have recently acquired a license for a piece of cool Mac Software called NiceCast. This software allows you to host your own radio station via the web from your Mac. This allows you to take audio from just about any application such as iTunes or Safari. It also gives you the option of using a microphone. On top of that, there are many effects you can use. There are many other features that I won’t even go into details about here, but you should really check it out for yourself. You can get the… Continue

Firefox 3.5

For the past few weeks I have been using the pre-release version of Firefox 3.5. This morning, the final release of Firefox 3.5 came out. If it is anything like the pre-release, it should be an excellent browser. It doesn’t crash all the time anymore (mainly when using Flash), it runs JavaScript a little bit better (but not like Safari 4 does), and there are plenty of features. If you are already a Firefox user or have never tried Firefox, you have to get Firefox 3.5. It is worth the time and sp… Continue

InspIRCd

The other day I was testing out an IRCd software called InspIRCd. I was told about it from a friend of mine, Jared. I am used to compiling and managing UnrealIRCd, which I have talked about in a previous post. It is definitely a lot different then Unreal, but in a good way. It runs great, its stable, and it doesn’t hog up to much CPU or Memory. However, if you are really used to UnrealIRCd, I suggest you stick with it. If your are still kind of new to all of… Continue

GameSpot

For years now I have been using a website called GameSpot to get all of the latest news, reviews, and videos about video games. Just over a year ago, I finally joined as a total access member. The site is basically a game news site where they post everything about video games on any platform. They provide live shows, coverage of E3, Reviews, Game Guides and much more. I highly encourage you use GameSpot for your latest news. There is a free account you can get, but for only $3.33 a month, you ca… Continue
